Parking note

A note stuck to the driver side window of my car yesterday read in neat handwriting "Did you actually try and park or did you just think F* it". The F word was written out in full.

I had parked near a friend's house for the first time. They had given me instructions on where to park and an alternative too. When I arrived I could see it was tight so I messaged her to ask her if my parking was ok or if I should move and she looked out and replied it was ok. Then she also came out to check. I wasn't blocking anyone in although I was at an angle as was another car and it was tight getting out for me but I think it would be slightly easier for the other cars.

When I saw the note I gave it to my friend and they said they thought they knew who wrote it.

Not sure why I'm posting really. I suppose it's on my mind as it wasn't nice to see the F word written out in full at me.

OP I’d be seriously tempted to leave a note writing back -‘ I just thought Fuck it - and while I’m at it what sort of knob leaves a note on someone’s car like that?’

Oh yeah, that would show them....
Come on...!

Fucking hell, fuck is possibly the fucking funniest, most fucking useful, and flexible fucking word in fucking English. Adjective, adverb, noun, verb, interjection - what's not to love about the completely understandable "Fuck, the fucking fucker's fucked"? "Gosh, the annoying object is broken" does not have the same ring to it.

'Fuck it' does fucking not have the same fucking meaning as 'Fuck you'.

I second the fucking diagram.

I think the fact you had to ask your friend if you were OK to park where/like you had kind of says it all…

And then for someone to go to the effort of writing a note, strongly points towards some inconsiderate parking!

I think the world might be better if more people thought 'fuck it'. Most stuff isn't important.

He could have decided to leave a note, or thought 'fuck it'- the 'fuck it' would probably have been better all round.

The word fuck is just a word. Fuck it.

And where would you leave the note?

Living on a road where it's all on-street parking, inconsiderately parked cars do get on my nerves.

Perhaps it could be seen as pathetic to write a note, but to park inconsiderately is incredibly selfish.

People are horrible op. We get alot of people blocking us in where we live but never swear. Says alot about people like that and the calibre of person they are.
