To go to Australia for 3 weeks of no stings sex?

I'm a menopausal woman who for various very sad reasons hasn't had sex in far too long.

This morning an old school friend messaged me. I haven't seen him in 3 decades and he's lived in Australia for at least one of those. We're FB friends but I've never heard directly from him before.

From his FB, he's loving life with a different woman every weekend. He's either on the beach or in the pub dancing to live music or both.

Anyway we chatted back and forth for a while, he told me he's currently single and for a minute it really did seem like a realistic idea to suggest going out there for a few weeks of fun.

There are men more locally, but they all come with "complications". I also accept I'm being very presumptive in expecting him to be up for the idea 😆

I've never had any hankering to go to Aus!

And where would you stay? Surely a hotel not his? - because 3 weeks is bloody INTENSE. It doesn’t really scream “no strings” because you’d be spending all days and nights together - spending the whole night in the same bed, being domestic and cooking and cleaning together etc. It’s not really what a quick fling screams.

Book a holiday in Oz, plan to travel, sight-see, all the normal stuff. Meet up with your friend at some point and see how it goes. Don’t travel 5000 miles just for a bit of sex, it is highly unlikely to be worth it.
Ask him to have an STI test, mak sure he wears a condom, get an STI test when you get back.

Because she only messaged him hours ago and she hasn't seen him for thirty years.

And it will cost her £2000 for flights and a similar amount to support herself for three weeks and because she will be 26 hours from home if anything happens.

She could have a decent night out and pull some bloke for the cost of the visa alone.

he isn’t someone who commits is he and while it would hugely boost his ego you flying out there he sounds like the type another women he gets chatting to online interests him you will be forgotten

at least get your your sex life going again where you feel comfortable and safe

If you're going to see Australia, with the sex as a possibility on the side, fine, but I wouldn't personally spend all that money just for a few shags. You might find you are sexually incompatible.

Some men are deceptive, sneaky bastards who like to wind women up, make the women show their hand (and to be fair, travelling all the way to Aus is showing your hand in a big way) and then let them down.
