So scared right now and don't know what to do. Had heartburn feeling all night and tickly throat and kept dry heaving. I've also had runny stools (sorry if TMI), don't know if they are connected.

However just been sick bright red blood Sad

Wtf do I? I didn't feel unwell or anything, just the heartburn but seeing the blood has scared me

@Bepis no. It means she could have called a cab herself, not expected an ambulance or the nhs to arrange it for her.

Not everyone can get a taxi where they live, nor be able to afford it. It costs £20 each way for a taxi to our hospital. She's done nothing wrong - that's what the NHS is for. Making people feel guilty for accessing healthcare could potentially cost lives.

What a load of old shite. I was still googling my symptoms and checking my emails up until the point when I drove myself to A&E and promptly ended up having emergency surgery. As in proper, close to death, internal bleeding, get on that operating table pronto type emergency surgery. It's the actual physical symptoms that are the issue in emergency situations, not how the person is reacting to them. Everyone is different. I was told that most people in my position didn't drive themselves to hospital and present themselves for examination. Usually they would arrive in an ambulance, already having collapsed. But not everyone. Cos, hey, not me🤷🏼‍♀️
