To ask what ‘it’s just you’ means

I have autism. I’m kind of flirting with an old flame over message.

He always says ‘it’s just you’ but I don’t get it.

Please could anyone kind of explain.

Maybe that he feels familiar with you?
Like if I opened the door to a close family member, I might say "oh it's just you".

Except I wouldn't really as its not a term I've ever used!

We need both sides of the conversation. What was said by you before he said that. Most of the conversation if not all of it would really help, you can remove any personal details.

Is that what he said? It's not clear without knowing what you said before that. It would be ok to ask him "What do you mean by "it's just you?"
