To ask what ‘it’s just you’ means

I have autism. I’m kind of flirting with an old flame over message.

He always says ‘it’s just you’ but I don’t get it.

Please could anyone kind of explain.

You said, ‘’ I would never make a move on anyone first’’ and in reply he said, ‘’I know, but then I would need to kiss you, too’’ (Kiss you in addition to the hug) and ‘’It’s just you l, eh’’ refers to the fact that you wouldn’t make the first move. In other words, it’s just the way you are, reserved like that. That’s my interpretation.

He's pretty clearly asking permission to kiss you. He's saying if you hug him he would want to take it further.

I think he is also saying, he knew you wouldn't make the first move as it's just who you are.

I’ve taken it to mean “you just do something to me!!” Type of thing. Like he can’t explain it but you have a positive effect on him and likely always have. Could mean sexually or something more..

The way I read it is him saying it’s just you that’s stopping him kissing you. Eg you say you wouldn’t stop him hugging you and he goes but then he’d want to kiss you meaning he’s worried you won’t let him. That’s what i take it as.
