It's cold, I'm exhausted and maybe a tad run down.

All my bloods are fine and I'm taking vitamins but I'm sick of failing rubbish.

What do you do when you need a bit of a bump?

A hot berroca and 2 annadin extra works for me. I usually grate a little bit of ginger in if I feel particularly bunged up or lousy. 💐💐

Mummyratbag · 16/01/2023 17:00

1000mg Vitamin C and an early night (actually lots of early nights if possible).

QuinoaWest · 16/01/2023 18:47

Make sure I'm drinking enough water.

Smelling (or tasting) fresh lemon/fresh peppermint perks me up.

Power naps.

Today was so drained that I tried a 'revitalising tonic' phial of royal jelly and ginseng. Wow...felt like I'd been charged up at the mains! May repeat tomorrow.

A phone chat with a caring friend/ nostalgic flick through old photos.

coodawoodashooda · 16/01/2023 18:51

Piping hot bath

Piping hot bath

Ah, this sounds amazing but no bath at the moment just a shower. Think things breaking and not having the funds to repair immediately is definitely part of it!

How do too you make this? Or do you buy it?

QuinoaWest · 16/01/2023 19:44

@Bowbellsx
Readymade pack of 10, from my local health store.

ShinyMe · 16/01/2023 20:04

Hot ribena, and an early night with a hot water bottle, a cat and an audio book of Winnie the Pooh.

Wifflywafflywoo · 16/01/2023 20:07

Smooth radio style spotify playlist (basically all my smooth radio faves plus cheesy songs from 80,90,00s) on my headphones, potter around the house tidying whilst snaffling a pepsi max and a kitkat.

If completed wiped out, pjs, fluffy socks, blanket, sofa, pepsi max, snacks and trash tv or my kindle.

Simple but effective

I was recommended metatone recently by someone at work who swears by it. I decided to try it after I was ill in December and i think it helped.

watchfulwishes · 16/01/2023 20:16

What’s it called? That sounds up my street

ChatSamosa · 16/01/2023 20:22

A rehydration sachet (dioralyte).

A lie down, just the resting helps me.

A back stretch.

Mol1628 · 16/01/2023 20:41

Metatone helps me too
