Sometimes. It depends how stressed I am. I find that noise, crowds, traffic, etc make me really, really hate people, to the point where I'm contemplating murder!! But it's not their fault. We live in a crowded world, where the population has gone from a billion in 1900 to eight billion and rising. I probably get on their nerves as well. I hate noise and stress and the lack of personal space. I hate the ghastly new build estates mushrooming everywhere, with their tiny houses squashed on top of one another. But that's not the same as hating people.
I do sympathize with how you feel. There are a LOT of assholes out there – spiteful, jealous, gossipy, bitchy, manipulative, selfish assholes. Catch me on a bad day and I'd say that the majority of the human race are pretty horrible and not worth bothering with. Even on a good day I'd agree that least a third are unbearable. But you mustn't let them warp you against the good people. Because there really are some good people out there. On my absolute worst day, when I'm raging, I'll grudgingly admit that some people are amazing. Also, don't underestimate how unhappy a lot of people are. They become nasty and bitter because they've been hurt.
