Just wondering. I’m jealous of people in good health with high energy levels. I want to be that kind of person so badly 😫

Physically attractive
Those with loving and supportive partners
Those with family who accept them and are kind
Who have confidence and a laid back nature
No chronic illnesses

Don't have any of that

Hugs @LilacRain12 ❤️

mamabear715 · 13/01/2023 00:00

Nothing.. not a jealous bone in my body.
Then again, I've had a bloody hard life at times & am so blessed to just have peace now!

Littlefish · 13/01/2023 00:01

@citychick I totally agree with you.

I'm jealous of people whose children don't have ADHD or Autism. I sometimes hear other people talk about their children, and can't imagine how lovely it must be not to have to deal with all the shit.

On the other hand, I've got a beautiful singing voice!

bluebellinthewood · 13/01/2023 00:04

People who still have their mum.

Phrenologistsfinger · 13/01/2023 00:07

Women who can carry a pregnancy to full term, who give birth to a healthy living baby.

DomesticShortHair · 13/01/2023 00:12

People whose job means that they can go back to their home at the end of each day.

Giggorata · 13/01/2023 00:16

Forgot to add: people who live in or next to a wood.

Springtimeshowers · 13/01/2023 00:23

people who travelled when they were young

Paulisexcluded · 13/01/2023 00:51

@Blueberrypeapod like you my mum died when I was a child , dont even remember her, so I feel the same. Sending you a hug.

Women who seem to love being a mum and enjoy their children's company.

I love my child unconditionally but I really find being a parent hard.

The guilt and shame is dreadful 💔

Some children are easy and some not so easy. Your love for your child comes at a cost to you and it is all the more precious ❤️

GarlandsinGreece · 13/01/2023 01:00

People with good health
People who magically sleep 7-8 hours each night

I seem to somewhat lack the 'jealousy' gene.

I don't think I've been jealous of anything that I can recall.

There are times I think 'ahh I wish I was good at xyz', but I've never thought, god I am so jealous that Joan isn't scared of flying/is a confident driver etc., I am more likely to think 'how great for Joan that she can do xyz'

Sorry if I sound like a twat.

Can I join you in the twatisphere, @CatCatchYouOnTheFlippetyFlop? You words resonate with me a lot!

HelloBunny · 13/01/2023 01:06

Nothing really... But when I see a sophisticated, well-dressed naturally good-looking woman, being like that just the way they are. I sometimes wish I wasn’t an average middle-aged woman, who was pretty when young, and even though I love clothes hasn’t got actual style or a polished look going on. Some women just have “It” I guess.

Appalonia · 13/01/2023 02:41

Pp who fall asleep easily, I've always suffered with dreadful insomnia
Pp with lovely, golden skin, not my red, blotchy face!
pp with warm, supportive families, can't imagine what that is like.

I do have long slim legs tho!😂

Moken · 13/01/2023 02:51

A healthy person has a thousand wishes but a sick person only has one

I hadn't heard this before. It's really resonated with me and I'm going to carry it forward.

Thanks for posting it.

Dowhahdiddy · 13/01/2023 02:53

People who get loads of free childcare from their parents or in laws. People who get weekends to themselves. People who get to go on date nights with their partners because the grandparents are having the kids.

BarnacleNora · 13/01/2023 03:11

People who can keep their house reasonably tidy and ticking over (and I don't even mean show home, just normal family clutter but not terrifying if someone comes to the door)

People with a solid group of friends, who do stuff together at weekends, see each other after school/work, plan stuff at Christmas....kids all playing together, adults sitting and chatting or joining in the fun. I'm really lonely.

I think what I might be describing is neurotypical people. I haven't been diagnosed yet but my brain certainly doesn't feel like a fucking 'superpower'.

Oh and people who chose a better father to their kids. Single parenting is an absolute slog and after 7 years of it I'm utterly and completely sick of doing it alone and not sharing any of the shit bits. Or sharing any of the amazing bits either with someone who loves these kids as much as I do.

Sorry, not a very cheerful contribution tonight.

TheWordHu88yIsMyPetHate · 13/01/2023 03:12

Naturally tall/slim women
Women with brown eyes
People who have their mam still
Laid back people with really good friends from childhood
Healthy people/no chronic illness
People with bigger/tidy houses
People with a DP who still 'sees' them
People with a big, close family

Akitasmum · 13/01/2023 03:24

People who are confident and not shy.
People who have lots of friends.
People who don't suffer from depression

This. For me I’d also add people who are not crippled with anxiety and people who can just pop their coat on and leave the house, pop
to the shop, have nice days out. Agoraphobia and GAD is no fun. Jealous of people who haven’t been broken by the actions of others.

Shawaddywaddeee · 13/01/2023 03:30

People that have a council flat/house.

Biggest regret of my life not getting one (I could've) as I'm constantly struggling to make ends meet with my other friends (who have council property) living it up as their rent/mortgage is next to nothing :(

StrawHatOnTheParcelShelf · 13/01/2023 03:30

People who can afford whatever they want.
People who have been able to bring their kids up within a happy marriage and big, loving, extended family.
People with innate warmth, those universally loved ones who instinctively know how to say and do the right thing to make others feel cared for and welcome.

People with regularly sized feet!

Moobae · 13/01/2023 03:41

Richer than me and I’m not rich lol

People who seem at ease in various social situations, can talk to anyone, good at small talk etc.

This.
Being ND it's difficult.

emptythelitterbox · 13/01/2023 04:03

Not sure that jealousy is the word but wealthy parents who have connections and helped their kids out.
