If your adult colleague has declined having their photo on the company website (which is optional) and has said they ‘cannot’ appear on any social media platform for ‘personal reasons’ what would you immediately think?

I would respect their choice and wouldn't question it.

It could be for a vast number of reasons, all of which are their business.

I had problems with a wierdo at work who eventually got sacked for sending nudes and nasty messages to other staff too,, although he took it next level borderline stalking with me, even after he was sacked, as a result I've made all my fb private, changed name etc.
She may have suffered something similar.

I can think of nothing worse than having your face plastered all over the internet for any random to gawp at.
