For 100 million quid would you do a porn movie?

The porn movie is going to be huge as in bigger than the Pamela Anderson/ Paris Hilton one and you will be the main star.

Very explicit (although all legal) but it's going to be everywhere so everybody in your life will know it's you and you have to go on Oprah/Ellen and other big shows promoting it. Would you do it?

I wouldn't want to be any kind of famous anyway, whether it be porn or something else. You'd be essentially selling the life you have now with people gawping everywhere you go

not necessarily. It's a porn so I'm not sure how big it could actually become in theory on the mainstream. I know the pamela Anderson/Paris Hilton ones wee massive but that's why these women were famous already. For the average person going on Oprah etc promoting a porn there'd probably be a load of commotion over initially it but it would blow over I'd imagine soon after and people would just think you were a nutcase/fame attention seeker. I don't know if your fame would last long.

I think I would. It's a massive amount of money. I'd give a a quarter to charity and I'd do the publicly so it was clear why I did the movie. Then I'd enjoy the money.

I wouldn't do anything illegal for money. I would never steal. I'm painfully honest and think I have strong morals. I disapprove of porn but 100 million is a lot.

Yes - for a life changing amount like that. Anything over 10 million probably. I’d pretty much be able to do whatever I wanted with the rest of my life.
It's only (consensual) nakedness and most people have sex.

We’re all just naked animals underneath. Including every single person that would watch it. That’s what I’d be telling myself anyway!

I do know it's a necessary evil. But I don't care about it for it's own sake.

I could use a bit more tbh. Definitely ease the stress. But I don't want millions. And that was the premise here wasn't it?

Depends on how much I was offered and what the illegal thing was. If I was offered to steal a pack of sausages from Tesco for 100 million I'd do it. Likewise if I was offered to do something illegal like drive without insurance, buy alcohol for for 16 year old, smoke cannabis or even sell it (not enough to get me a life sentence but a small amount) for a life changing sum I'd do it.

the premise was more how you'd sacrifice your values and upturn your life by doing a very controversial act with big stigma attached to it for a large sum. The vast majority of posters on this thread would never do porn or prostitution normally as it could be detrimental to their lives but it was to test how they'd change that decision with excess money.

As for millions many posters said they'd do it for less meaning that they'd do it if they were given just enough to live on comfortably for life. It's a light hearted escapism thread and hypothetical situation as unless any poster here is Jennifer Aniston then none of us would get 100 million for a porno. But it's still always interesting to see peoples perceptions on these threads.

Would people's partners really leave them over it? I doubt mine would want to watch but he'd definitely understand, I think

if the couple were married he/she'd be legally entitled to half of it or a pretty decent percentage of it so I think alot of partners be understanding of it when they consider the cash.

I would probably have some concerns about where the £100million comes from in the first place, and it might cause me to say no. On the other hand, there's an awful lot of good you could do with that sort of money, even after buying yourself a nice house and so on.

I have no children and my parents are dead, so no worries there.

I've been swinging, so I know I'm happy having sex with an audience and having sex with people I've not met before. I'd probably be pretty good at making the film in that sense, and i'd probably quite enjoy it, as long as i could stipulate stuff like no choking.

So it really comes down to whether I think I could do more good with the money than the exploitation involved in originally raising it. But they probably already have the money and would just move on to the next person, so it would be like destroying a fur coat won't bring back the animals that already died to make it. But you'd still be adding to the market of porn, especially with the heavy promotion, so even if that film itself was as ethical as porn can be, with well-paid participants, all freely doing it, no trafficking etc, it's still feeding the market where there is trafficking and women are forced into it, not paid well if at all. Probably £100m doesn't make up for that.

No. I agree the humiliation would not be worth it. And knowing that anyone you meet could have watched you and masturbated to your sexual activity on film. It would affect my whole life negatively.
Some things are more important than money as long as you have enough to eat and the basics of life.

I'm in my 30s so might be different to kids but can only say that if I had extremely wealthy parents to the tune of 100 million who could provide for me for life over money my mum made from doing porn I wouldn't care or be bothered by her career.

As long as she was happy to have done it and wasn't exploited or forced into it ofcourse.

But my mum is a repressed, borderline nun with a big Catholic ethos so there's more chance of me winning the lotto than her ever having done that haha. She wouldn't agree to do porn for all the money in the world and my likewise conservative and religious father would never agree to it either.
