I just knew that it was from someone who hated me as soon as I saw the glitter, bastards! Got this card in the post today, no name, just the address without a post code. No idea what it’s about, anyone?

I think they've received their own unplesant anonymous note, but there were two things in it that in their opinion gave away who wrote it (English money and woman).

They either think that person wss you, or they've got the wrong house.

Same.

"Shouldn't have put English money (in) or "woman" - gave yourself away."

That still wouldn't make any sense though? There's only writing from one person inside?

ShakespearesBlister · 29/12/2022 20:21

AHH but THAT person got a note and thought OP sent it! Still sooo weird 🤐

Lilyhatesjaz · 29/12/2022 21:02

One of your neighbours complaining to their landlord that the bungalow they rent is damp?

Alwayswonderedwhy · 29/12/2022 21:08

The writing style and content reminds me of my nan when she had dementia. Don't take any notice. I feel sad for the person who wrote it, they're clearly not well.
No need to share it on here really.

PetraBP · 29/12/2022 21:20

I wouldn’t worry about it.

Either it’s meant for someone else, or it’s from someone who doesn’t know you personally but who wanted the house you’re now living in.

The handwriting certainly looks like it’s an elderly person.

nancydroo · 29/12/2022 21:25

Maybe the nosey lazy journos at the DM or MO will pick this up and investigate!?

LegoBrick4 · 29/12/2022 21:41

@Pirrin That’s exactly what it is. They just got the door number wrong. I vaguely remember something going on with some old busybody when I first came here. It makes sense now. Although I’ve no idea about the first bit. Should I pop it through Mrs BB’s letterbox 🤔 I’d hate for her to miss out.

What did it say on the envelope? Do you have a Ring doorbell?

Darkchocolateandcoffee · 30/12/2022 10:15

Sorry, just read the OP properly. Ignore me.

It looks like a very old person who probably has dementia, I wouldn't worry.

I though wrong door number too. What was the message about if it makes sense now? It's very odd.
