To talk about my mam?

Probably not the right area but never mind.

My mam died suddenly last night, she was 67.., my poor dad had to do cpr.

It's just so cruel, she was so fit and healthy and we'd had a lovely Christmas and now she's gone and I don't know what I'm going to go without her.

She was so full of life and energy and I'm never going to see her again. She was just the most amazing person and I speak to her everyday, but now she'll never answer the phone again.

It hurts so much.

I'm so sorry. Yes, do talk about her.
What a terrible shock for you all.

How unfair.

I'm so sorry for your loss 😥

Losing someone you love is extremely hard, maybe post this in the bereavement section, you'll get lots of of support there. I'm not saying you won't get it here, but sometimes there's so many threads this will get "lost" if you know what I mean.

I'm so sorry OP. We lost my MIL very suddenly last year at 60. Same as your mam, fit and healthy, was due to retire and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a doer and had so much to live for. I miss her every day.

The pain and initial shock just floors you. I couldn't even think about the enormity of it all without crying for a long time. It does get easier to bear, I promise. And she will always be with you, because she is a part of who you are. Sending you love and strength xx

cakeandchampagne · 28/12/2022 08:31

I’m so sorry for the loss of your lovely Mam.

There’s nothing quite like the pain of losing your mother (I speak sadly from experience)

It must have been very traumatic for you all , especially for your poor Dad doing cpr.

Love and strength to you all.

PumpkinPie2016 · 28/12/2022 08:40
