Sick dog - advice needed

Small dog has thrown up after every meal for the past 3 days. She’s very quiet, barely moving. It’s undigested food but sometimes many hours after eating. She’s no appetite today and has only eaten a carrot and a handful of food (which she then brought back up in its entirety 2 hours later).

no bile, only puking food. No diarrhoea.

7 years old.

does it warrant OOH vet? She hasn’t kept anything down (other than water) for 3 days. Awful farting too. DH reluctant to call OOH saying I should just take her tomorrow

Another vet nurse here , 3 days of these symptoms is appalling , i hope your poor dog has seen a vet by now.

When our dog swallowed a stone her symptoms were the same. She had to have surgery to remove it from her bowel. Your dog needs to see a vet

How can anyone leave an animal unwell so long that it is hardly able to move.

First thing I did when I woke up this morning was check this thread, hoping to see an update. A lot of us are worried OP and hope you can update us please. Hope your poor little dog is ok.

Ditto @berrycakeandcustard - I’m hoping the OP saw sense and called the vet. This is absolute animal abuse, to leave a poor animal in obvious pain for 3 days. The mind boggles. I’m hoping OP hasn’t responded as the dog is at the vets and has been treated.

I doubt OP will be back. I just hope the poor dog is ok.

You’ve left it for 3 days, what the fuck is wrong with you. Some people really don’t deserve animals. 😡

That is what has upset me the most. A dog left to suffer for 3 days.
