In this case I didn't even see the other thread so I've no idea what it said. If it said women can't have big families and work full time and buy islands then we know that's not so so let's encourage everyone to go forth, breed, work and earmark areas of rainforest for themselves I suppose for when I get converted to communism by MN posters.

Xenia- it said nothing about women not doing the things you've done, merely (ha!) cast aspersions on your very existence.

But she is here so why does it matter where else we all exist? We are all here at particular times and voice our beliefs. Why does it mean someone exists more if you find out a name and date of birth?

I hate all this crap, I have never posted on a hread Xenia is on before because quite frankly she scares me but I have braved posting on here because I live MN and the fact we all as annonymous as we want to be and are free to speak ur mid and express ourselves( sometimes for those in oppresive relationships the only place possible)

Mrsruffalo, imo it depends on the intention of the poster. If the intention is to poke a stick into the nest and run under cloak of anonymity, then it is more akin to trolling. Likewise if the poster espouses views that are merely designed to inflame. Obviously if someone really is stating their own views, then there is no case.

I state my own views. The fact some people might never mix with people who earn a lot and vote conservative doesn't mean people like me don't exist. It's the beauty of the internet that you come into contact with people who are very different from you and you realise you're living in a very narrow low income left wing group or the high pay equivalent.

And I think both of them are more than capable of looking after themselves and won't be upset or offended by either thread. If duchesse feels better for apologizing, that's good - but I will bet hald my kingdom that xenia isn't bothered!

MN wouldnt be the same without Xenia. And lets face it, shes up for it I tend to disagree with alot she says, i also tend to agree with a lot. Her opinions are unpopular so you have to admire how she stand up for them, even if it does sound like a broken record sometime

and if you get over being namby pamby and start a very tongue in cheek thread about male posters you get some very non pc answers about how others pity you having a husband who must grunt at you!!

I admire Xenia for never losing her cool, even in the face of extreme provocation. Whether you agree with her pov/posts or not (and sometimes I do and sometimes I don't) I intensely dislike the number of personal remarks directed at her. You can disagree with the poster without slagging them off.

I've no strong views on Xenia either way (not that she would care!) but don't think criticism of Duchesse for saying she has identified her is justified.... if someone truly wanted to stay anonymous they shouldn't give out so much personal information both here and in the national press...

I don't really know Cod but I've never multiple posted under two names on any site ever so I'm certainly not anyone else.

Although I know that we all know people differ around the world often people don't choose to engage with those who are different but on the internet there is a chance to do that which is a good thing.
