I’ve just seen a Waitrose advert for a blood-orange & chocolate cwenelle. AIBU to be deeply offended?

It’s the pronunciation as cwenelle. And to me it looks piped anyway.

in catering it’s just a shape made with spoons to make things look fancy on the plate

A quenelle is a presentation technique which makes a three-sided oval shape out of soft, malleable dish components, like pâté, cream Chantilly or ice cream.
