Has anyone else got this awful sickness bug?

Started with diarrhoea about 6pm last night, then I was throwing up.
Now I’m in bed shivering/sweating and aching all over 😞
i’ve only just got over tonsillitis.
I seem to pick up everything.

My 4 year old has only just got over a nasty virus, so I’m worried he’ll get this too 😭

Oh hello fellow sufferer, yes, exactly the same which is why I'm sat downstairs worrying about my one year old getting it. Really hope it's only a 24 hour thing but work are not going to be happy.

Just got an email that something similar is going around DCs' school. Vomiting plus cold/flu symptoms apparently

@DiamondApricot it’s god awful isn’t it. I had one similar to this in the summer.
The aching - another level and I’m freezing, although my skin feels warm.

I have to keep running off to the toilet. So horrible. It’s like water 💩 sorry for the information.

Yep, I was going between freezing to death and flinging all the covers off boiling in bed. Not sure if I should try and eat something, not that there's any food in the kitchen anyway and if I go in the cat will ambush me for breakfast.

Baby started nursery back in September and one of us has been ill with something ever since, I've never been so sickly in my life!

Me and everyone in my house. I was the last to drop so they're all recovering now but I feel like death.

Same! Sofa, duvet, cat, crappy Lindsay Lohan Christmas movie on the TV. Waiting for DH to come back with ill person supplies.
Have you tried eating yet @Babybunt ?

I just tried to have lunch with disastrous results, not recommended.
Has your little one been at home with you @Babybunt ?

I had this a few weeks ago. It was hell on earth but on the plus side I lost half a stone in 2 days!

Just come out the other side I think! Started late Monday night with my 4yo and by early hours of Tuesday morning I had succumbed ☹️ I've been drinking Lucozade and managed some rice with soy sauce and toast.

Would massively recommend if you're in a household that you get those that haven't got it so far to stay really hydrated as a precaution because it's brutal!

Really awful 12 hours of D+V, then 12 hours of just feeling really rough. Feel a bit better today but do have a background cold. And also having chemo so immune system a bit shot!

The d & v only lasted from about midnight until 6am but I felt soo ill the following day with aches and exhaustion that I couldn't face eating until the evening where I managed a buttered crumpet. Couldn't really eat anything other than small portions of beige for a few days afterwards!

This has been ok my home for weeks we seem to be ok then bang it’s back, my son has it followed by a flu he’s been in bed two days straight. I’ve never experienced anything like this

@Babybunt when it passed to me I bought sachets of zooski vit c and a bottle of metatone. It really does perk you up when your feeling like this and run down

@Babybunt even better and when I was sick I wore warm layers to sweat it out it works for me

My 3 year old, vomiting Saturday night! Been miserable since! Hardly eating, sipping at drinks!
Had another projectile tonight and she's just gone to bed, no further vomit yet.......
god I hope she feels better soon!!! Work are cross!
DP has developed flu/cold in last few days
I have been OK, notorious stomach of steel, but feeling a bit dicky tonight......

Yes, DS16 currently has it (vomiting, diarrhoea and flu like symptoms).

His twin, me, DD17, and DS18 all have the flu symptoms but no stomach symptoms.

DH has swerved it, I am tempted to go and lick his face so he can share our misery😆

I could have written this yesterday. I had Severe aches and I had d&v for 6 hours. Today I still feel rough but no where near as bad as yesterday. The aches were the worst part!
