I can't believe nobody has said drumstick lollies so far!

BertieBotts · 13/12/2022 20:27

I love pear drops. And we used to get these tiny little things called fruit pips. Never found anything that's exactly like them.

Fruit polos were great as well. Do they still exist?

Also those aniseed chewy ones with the pink and blue ball coating. They remind me of my grandma, she used to ask us to bring her some every time we went to the old fashioned sweet shop!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/12/2022 20:33

Toffos.
White mice.
White Chocolate fish and chips
Anglo Bubbly Bubble gum.
Peanut sweets
Sherbet pips

Probablymagrat · 13/12/2022 20:33

@BertieBotts those aniseed chewy ones with the pink and blue ball coating. They're called Spogs and you can buy them on Amazon.

Sour Cherries, Spogs, buttered brazils - you can't get them anymore, they were brazil nuts covered in butterscotch, only had them at Christmas.

Thundercats77 · 13/12/2022 20:36

Alphabets (not seen them since the 90s)
The necklace/watch bead sweets before they changed the ingredients.

Fizzy cola bottles

I really miss Spangles. My favourites were the Old English flavour in the black tube. I think the nearest to regular fruity Spangles are Fox's fruit sweets, but still not as good as the original.

justasking111 · 13/12/2022 22:30

Rhubarb and custard hard sweets
Raspberry ripple chocolates
Peppermint creams
Coconut ice
Cherry heering cherry liqueurs

GellerYeller · 13/12/2022 22:31

Tiger Tots and Candy Tots. Tiny liquorice all sorts and dolly mixtures. I still love jelly tots but they’ve changed the shape and you can’t squash several together now to make a little tot sandwich😂

HRTQueen · 13/12/2022 22:32

Chocolate limes
Toffee Crumble (and the ice lolly)
Moon Rock (was broken pieces of milk chocolate)
Blackjacks
Banjos

HRTQueen · 13/12/2022 22:32
