….. to wonder exactly WHAT specific lie was told to protect Price William ?

Just that !
In the trailers for the next Harry / Meghan Netflix , Harry talks about how Courtiers lied to protect William .
Hmmmm - what could he gave done that needed lies told to us ?

I'm inclined to believe it is to do with the bridesmaids' tights. It isn't a particularly edifying story, regardless of who made whom cry. I think Meghan was unrealistic to think that the Royal Family would order the press to issue a 'correction' over such a silly story.

I do think they can't win though.

The acceptable version was M made K cry & that was used to criticise M. When they said it was the other way around, M got criticised for making it a big deal or for being too fragile etc

We don't know the truth & it's a probably a mixture of both but certainly the response was not equal.

No he doesn’t, he doesn’t remotely talk about courtiers lying. He said they lied and it doesn’t clarify who. It could easily be the press.

Regardless of what he means Harry has really thrown his brother under the bus now. He will probably backtrack in years to come and say he didn’t mean anything juicy/specific but he will have known that people will gossip along these lines. Nasty.

Pippa named her daughter Rose, and Pippa appears to be close to the Princess of Wales.

It would be a strange choice of name if William was indeed cheating on his wife with a woman named Rose.

That was the one thing that convinced me it wasn't true. There's no way Pippa would do that to Kate. I believe the person who started the story also said he said it as a joke & before he knew it it had spread like wildfire

Apparently it is the press.
The audio says ‘they lie to protect my brother’ or whatever, but apparently the subtitles say ‘the British press lie to protect my brother’

I just saw a clip about it on YouTube, think it was from sky news?

Regardless of what does or doesn't go on between siblings, why on earth would you think it's ok to allude to something having gone on so publicly? I would feel so betrayed by my sister if she did that privately with family, let alone this way.

I don't understand what he is trying to achieve. Does he have any relationships with his family anymore? His brother, cousins etc?

It's all just bonkers.

william in real life is apparently very stuffy and proper. Not very warm. I’d be bloody shocked if he had an affair, he didn’t have it in him when he was single to go shagging, I doubt he’s doing it now, especially after his parents behaviour.

so it’s not that, harry said they lied to protect William but would not tell the truth to protect me, so it’s some childish indiscretion and Netflix are just trying to drum up viewers as no one is watching any more so they are trying to hint at something juicy to get people to watch it.

im not even convinced he will say what it is. Likely another vague accusation and could easily be the media.
