Hmmmm - what could he gave done that needed lies told to us ?

I did think it would have been rude of her and she doesn't seem rude, so I was disinclined to believe it before. But now we've seen her filming herself everywhere, I'm thinking it could very well be true.

It was before they were married and I didn't believe it because discretion is so important to royals, and I didn't think H would marry her if she'd done that. I believe it now, due to the Netflix doc.

The bill being brought to parliament about 'stripping titles' is a private members' bill being brought by Bob Seeley MP (IoW) and it is not thought it will succeed without government backing. So it's just a bit of publicity really, as the government won't commit to supporting this particular bill.

Keir Starmer was lukewarm about it so I doubt many or any Labour MPs will turn up in numbers, and they might abstain anyway. They don't like mixing royal stuff and politics.

I know people want to respond to Harry and his speculations; but they also don't want to play into his escalating sense of grievance. It's a tricky one. How does a state deal with a loose cannon who is the son of a hereditary head of state?

That's the real kicker, isn't it? Effectively they wanted to become wealthy in North America, very wealthy in fact, and offer their services to ER as celebrities rather than royals. All royal protocols would have been up in the air and the queen said no thank you, we don't allow celebrities to officially represent the royal family and the royal name. You are either in or out.

It was indeed a rumour but it came from a blind gossip site, so I wouldn't take it as gospel. 😂 It does seem a bit more believable now that we know she videos herself all the time.
Same gossip site, there was a rumour that the RF were treating her with kid gloves and being cautious around her because they discovered that she was keeping a diary, documenting what they were all saying. At the time I thought that was a bit innocuous because lots of people keep diaries. But now, of course, that looks a bit more suspicious. And, of course, it might be a video diary with recordings. Although I really don't think she'd secretly record people.

I think MM said she kept a diary , and when they left they started video recording , I do think a lot of what’s on their doc is re-enactment which I find hilarious.
its like a clash of two worlds , old and new, what Meghan must have seen as totally normal taking selfies and photos of everything including other peoples houses , others might have seen it as vulgar and only something people who are new to all of this do, although I must admit that Meghan seems very posed and refined From the very start , so any looks of eye rolling / digs to her behaviour must have hurt her very badly and she seems like someone who doesn’t take rejection lightly,

Not one person sticks up for them on tattle and the racism is off the scale. Megan's mum comes under particular criticism with allegations that she has been in prison ffs.

I think the point is it has come out, but there's an injunction. There's also a devils pact with the press to go easy.

So a superinjunction would be operative only in the UK, as far as I'm aware.

I'm sure other countries would be only too happy to publish all of the available evidence.

In the absence of a reliable source with some kind of credible evidence, I'm not going to put too much weight on these rumours.

What's the evidence that it has come out?

A little late to the thread but:

1. I thought the reference was to the Media not the palace.

2. I think M&H probably were treated badly and will be happier out of that life. Their of them seem suited to it (which most people wouldn't be) and it's probably horrible to be forced to fit in with all those rules and heiracies. I couldn't do it.

3. that said, they have absolutely not left gracefully. They seem to think that they are somehow getting truth and justice, but it just comes across as bitterness and revenge.I also struggle with their "poor me" routine given their privilege (Megan's "noone asks how I am" moan in an interview about their trip to Africa I found particularly poorly judged)

4. I wouldn't be surpised if Wills had an affair, I don't think he is as unattractive as people on this thread make out but in any case he has money and status and I imagine some charm. Lots of more disgusting men have had sex based on less.

5. I am also tired of the hits and insinuations. If you know something say it, otherwise it's just a smear campaign.
