Death penalty for dog poo

I am 100% against the death penalty, however I am willing to reconsider my position for people who leave dog shit on pavements. In the last two weeks, I have had to scrape shit out of pram tyres, toddler shoes and kid shoes. I don’t own a dog!
I fantasise about bringing these bastards to justice aibu?

People who don't clean up after their dogs are lazy, antisocial fuckers. They know perfectly well it can be dangerous.

What is wrong with the people on this thread that didn't get that OP was talking abiut the death penalty in jest? Or even those who did get it but still moaned about it 🙄

Exactly. That would be ludicrous. The death penalty (in those countries still barbaric enough to practise it) should be for serious crimes.

Your as bad as my ds. He called out someone who didn't pick up after his dog and said, 'don't be a poophead, pick up your dog poo'. The guy looked all embarrassed and did as ds said it repeatedly and loudly. Ds couldn't understand why he would ignore it when he had poop bags on him. He proposed people like him ought not to be given dinner and be put in jail. Ds is 5.

To be reasonable, I think the death penalty should be reserved for repeat offenders. First offence can be a public whipping.

Same goes for people who leave chewing gum around on random surfaces. Hate chewing gum on shoes too.

I am so filled with impotent rage. My house regularly has to deal with dog shit when we don’t have a dog (we don’t have a dog because I don’t want to deal with dogshit).

i own a dog and its my pet hate people who dont pick up after their dog. i carry extra bags and if i see any on my walk with my dog i pick that up,spoke to new PCSO police person last week she said they can do nothing,

I drove instead of walking short journeys as there was no point in walking and getting shit on toddler shoes.

I didn't visit parks and got a swing/slide set in my own garden instead as people like to plaster parks in shit. Even when it's fenced and no dogs, people let their dogs in. And people break glass in there.

Strict removal of all outdoor shoes as soon as enter house. Because of dog shit.

I was once brushing my teeth, idly looking out of the front window spying on the neighbourhood when I saw a woman letting her dog crap on the pavement right outside our gate then go to walk off. I threw my toothbrush down and the window open and yelled "oi! Are you going to pick that up?"
Startled at having been caught out, she replied that she didn't have any bags and was heading home to get one. No worries, I said. I will provide you with a bag, which you can put in my bin when you're done. No thank you, she says. I shut the window and wait. She dithers around a bit, checking if I'm still watching. I am. She huffs and gets a dog treat bag out of her pocket, and proceeds to pincer the dog turd off the pavement, leaving a massive smear because the bag isn't big enough then marches off with a face like someone had just left a dog shit outside her garden gate. Why the fuck didn't she just accept a bag from me..because she didn't want to, and never intended to, pick her own dog's shit up. OP YADNBU, people like this are utter scum.

Once on Christmas day, someone let their dog shit right outside my mum's house. I had to clean that up for her and hose the fucking area, it was so mank. I now keep bottles of dettol and pour it over areas that are right outside my property and I will step on.

I remember weeping with anger as I dug someone’s dog shit out of the little grooves of my little girl’s gorgeous pink leather Clark’s shoes after a visit to the park. I would’ve happily voted for this. Along with other ‘dog-related crimes’ such as ‘he’s only being friendly’, dumping poo bags in the countryside and having them on such a long lead they take up the whole pavement etc.

I’ve been a dog owner all my life and poo left behind makes me rage. If you can walk a dog you can pick up its poo. Only exception is Guide Dog owners, of course. In one area I lived in a man exercised his guide dog off lead and it was usual for another dog owner to pick up anything his dog did. None of us want to walk in shit.

I have a dog and agree, also for the complete idiots who bag it in the countryside and hang it in a tree In populated places bag it and place in a bin, in more rural places if you can't (won't) carry it to the nearest bin, get a stick and flick it into undergrowth, bagging and leaving it is worse than not bagging at all, dog poo is biodegradable unlike the bags!

We used to have a small street from the Primary school to where we put the children on the bus for school trips.It was known by the staff as Dog Shit Alley! If I had a pound for the number of times on the way to the bus and the way back I told the excited /tired children to watch out for DDS (my children's name for it- Dog's Dollops)in that 70 m stretch I could have had several gins in the pub.

Horrible on pram wheels. I discovered hosing it off was the best on a fast flow. Not great in this weather though.💐Smell these instead.
