To think this is really inappropriate

The man I have been seeing casually has a 15yr DS from a previous relationship. He told me th

e other day that his Ex wife had been taking the Micky out of him whilst speaking to his DS. Apparently he said to his son ‘well before she runs her mouth about me she needs to think about what of mine has been in that mouth of hers’ is it just me that thinks that’s really inappropriate to say your 15 yr old DS?

YANBU

ElfHasBeenSilly · 03/12/2022 22:21

That’s totally and completely disgusting! Enormous glowing red flag

HipposHaveNipples · 03/12/2022 22:21

That is so gross.

IAmTi · 03/12/2022 22:21

Why do you need to ask? Clearly you aren't comfortable with it so just stop seeing him. I personally think yes that's gross.

I'm concerned anyone needs to ask really!

Nothingbuttheglory · 03/12/2022 22:22

Revolting.

Stressedmum2017 · 03/12/2022 22:22

Yeah that's gross, poor lad.

Bizzyone · 03/12/2022 22:22

Gross, massive red flag, bin him.

Tomatoblush · 03/12/2022 22:23

Well as the saying goes he's told you who he is. Believe him. And run.

AnuSTart · 03/12/2022 22:23

WTAF
Dirty fucker.
Who talks like that to their 15 year old son?

Stay with him at your peril.

holierthanthou73 · 03/12/2022 22:23

obviously do you really need to ask

SkylightSkylight · 03/12/2022 22:30

Apart from it being a horrible thing to say to his child, it also makes NO SENSE.

so, disgusting father & stupid twat, he'd be gone.

Cas112 · 03/12/2022 22:32

Awful

JockTamsonsBairns · 03/12/2022 22:33

It's awful. I have a 15yo DS, and there's no way on God's green earth I would consider that sort of talk in front of him.

And I'm generally pretty laid back about most things - but that's just crass.
Poor lad.

Comedycook · 03/12/2022 22:34

Grim

704703hey · 03/12/2022 22:35

That's grim. And he shouldn't be training his young son to adopt that attitude.

thistimelastweek · 03/12/2022 22:35

Yuck.
In one sentence he not only denigrated and objectifies women, but he encourages his son to do the same. And the woman on question was his son's mother.

I couldn't be around such man.

Peashoots · 03/12/2022 22:37

Disgusting misogynistic pig of a man.
I would run a mile OP.

Newwardrobe · 03/12/2022 22:37

Are you still going to see him?

StickyCricket · 03/12/2022 22:39

The fact he said that to his son is disgusting, but then to tell you is quite bizzare.

I take it he wasn’t telling you in an “oh God I’m so disgusted with myself” and more in a bragging “hehe aren’t I a quick witted smart arse” kind of way.

You’ve got yourself a really mysogynist prick there.

Merryandbrightt · 03/12/2022 22:44

Yes he definitely was saying it a bragging kind of way, like he was really proud of it. I have no idea why he felt the need to tell me and it’s not the first time he’s said things like that either

Why in the fuck are you still with him? Have you no standards at all?

BOOTS52PollyPrissyPants · 03/12/2022 22:55

Gross and he says these kinds of things regularly, would turn me right off to be honest. What does he bring to the relationship, does he treat you well.

IHATEmyjob000 · 03/12/2022 22:56

Eeeeeewwww
poor child having him for a dad

BatshitBanshee · 03/12/2022 23:00

Fucking yikes to say it anyway but to say it his son about his son's mother? So gross, so inappropriate, so vile. A young teen doesn't need that visual in his head about his mother, doesn't need that thought in his head and doesn't need to believe its acceptable behaviour. Bin him.
