As above. We put the little bastard away on the evening of December 23rd last year, neither of us can remember where! Any ideas?!

Found the small elves! After hunting in the loft they appeared in my DDs bedroom amongst the mountain of stuffed teddies she already owns

We don't use the elves as a behaviour monitoring item. It's just a bit of festive fun.

@abw94 he was wrapped in an old T-shirt at the back of a shelf on Dh's side of the wardrobe, behind a basket of random bits and bobs.

We were going to buy a new one, loads of shops here have the cheap ones(I'm in Ireland, not NI) but ours is the original one so he looks different to those ones. Thank god we found the fucker. He was €25. Definitely didn't want to pay that again!!

Mine has lived in the back of the wardrobe for 9 years. I have ADHD. If I didn't put him in that spot every year I would never find him again. And ours is a branded Elf in the Shelf so he's harder to replace if it ever came to that

@SparklyMistleToes ours is the branded elf on the shelf too, so I was really hoping not to have to replace him! I think ours can live in the wardrobe forevermore too. The stress of the last few days trying to find him.

@Alphabet1spaghetti2 No!! It's in a field or a ditch somewhere down the road from our house. Poor Dh spent 2 hours looking for it on Monday night, no joy.
