As above. We put the little bastard away on the evening of December 23rd last year, neither of us can remember where! Any ideas?!

My elf isn't one of those evil ones, they're cuddly ones and have personalised tags on (for actual fucks sake)

I really dislike when parents tell their kids this. So my 4 year old will be made to think she's naughty by other kids at school because she's got an elf? Lovely

If a kid tells her that, I'll make sure to tell her to pass on that actually it's that their parents are lazy. Fair?

The drone has flown off with its new best friend into the time tunnel which allows Santa to visit everyone in the world in four hours flat. ? As it’s a one way ticket they can’t reappear until 2023…..

Ours lives in a box in a box in the garage! The big box is labelled advent and has all the other crap that arrives on 1st Dec. I'm amazed at myself actually! 😆

I'm sure your 4 year old will cope just fine. And if not, by the sound of how precious you are, maybe having some resilience in the family wouldn't hurt

Because maybe what I tell my own kids isn't really anything to do with you, or in anyway has to impact on what you choose to do with your 4 year old

I've said several times I could not care less if someone doesn't want to do the elf- or anything else for that matter - but I do think it's pretty mean to tell kids that the elf only goes to naughty kids houses. People could just say the elf doesn't come to them, it doesn't need to put other peoples choices down. I don't think it's lazy not to do the elf, but if someone is determined to shit on my fun then I can do that right back 😂

Exactly. There's absolutely no need to try to put kids down here, I'm sure you wouldn't like it if someone did that to your children. Just say that every house does Christmas differently, some do the elf, some don't, end of discussion.
