AIBU to think that Sticky toffee pudding is the best pudding/dessert ever?

Hot brownie and ice cream comes close though I admit.

In the winter it is peerless.
Come summer it’s time for the miracle that is summer pudding or a simple strawberry shortcake made with clotted cream

Yanbu, I like baking but I've banned myself from ever learning how to make it as i have no self control I'd be the size of a house 😊

Can't beat a good trifle IMO. My mum's raspberry vodka trifle was a thing of beauty every Christmas.

It ok,especially if it git dares in but you can't beat apple and sultanas crumble with cinnamon and custard🤪

It’s dates in a Sticky toffee pudding. Delicious. I’d also add trifle and pavlova to the list. And profiteroles. And a cheese plate course!

I tell everyone my favourite is cheesecake.

My actual favourite is birds custard powder made too thick in the microwave so you can stand a spoon up in it and eaten cold in secret.

I had to pop to the local CoOp to pick up some bread and milk. I’ve also come home with a Sticky Toffee Pudding and tub of vanilla ice cream 😳🤣

Omg Im making sticky toffee pudding for the first time ever today - DH wanted a crumble but I overruled him.

Tiramisu is the best but out of all the hot puddings I would go for jam roly poly and custard. I haven't eaten that in years and now I want it.

😁 Sorry! I grew up being fed Sunday lunch puddings and as an adult can't stand that kind of thing. Far too sweet.

My family still eat it and expect it after a big lunch. Strudel was always big, or tinned steam pudding. And my dad thinks sticky toffee pudding is amazing.

Waiters always bring DH a second spoon if he has a dessert in a restaurant, assuming I'm doing that pathetic thing of 'watching my calories'. NO. If they brought me another bread basket or some guaranteed plain truffles, I'd love it.

I hate desserts except a quality dark chocolate, so I'm with @Dogsgottabone gottabone

one of the best sticky toffee puddings is made in a village down the road from us.
