I am FREEZING!!!!! Didn't realise my extra 2 stone of padding last year was actually very helpful!

YANBU, I used to be cold all the time when I was 8/9 stone.

Now I'm 12 stone and run warm all the time and don't need the heating on much.

Same here....my partner thinks it is hilarious as I have prior form for taking the piss out of him being cold. No more...it is awful!

I was just as cold when I was fat, personally.

At least now it's easier to find well fitting winter coats. Or I could just wear an Oodie and look the same as I did before.

Yup, I've lost 5.5 stones. Used to be hot all the time, now I'm permanently freezing.
I also need to tell my loose skin to shrink with the rest of my body.

Lost 11 stone and didn't notice a difference.... Always been freezing

Yes, I was just thinking that earlier! It's not even my first winter since weight loss but it hasn't got any better yet!

I've found my people! Always been boiling when I was big. Lost 13 stone and I am absolutely FREEZING last year. Discovered I was severely anaemia and had a few iron transfusions over the summer but even now, my feet are like blocks of ice.

Yep same. I lived in shorts year round but since losing 5 stone, I am currently wfh with the heating on and wearing three layers! Shorts are now for sunny days!

I've developed Reynaud's after losing weight. Any cold exposure becomes incredibly painful, very quickly.

Anyone who's shared massive weight losses got any advice?
It really is about eating less. Moving more is great if you have time & energy but the real key is eating less. I didn't change what I eat, only how much of it I eat, and I only eat as a response to being actually physically hungry.

I'm ALWAYS cold and DH never was - until....last year he lost a few stone, et voila all of a sudden he's cold!!
It made me lol when he connected the dots!

I've always been about 9st. And I'm cold All The Time!

I've been WFH today with down gilet on and a hot water bottle stuffed up the front of it. (Would recommend, btw)

My "party trick" is being able to get hypothermia on a 22° day.

Covid ventilation meant I spent the last 2 winters with a massive raynauds problem. (More than normal).

It's a shame our culture dictates acceptable body sizes because the climate suggests it should be something quite different!

Yes I'm always cold even in summer and dh walks around in January opening windows in his shorts.
