That I've lost the TV remote.

I had it an hour ago when I turned TV off, settled DD and thought I'll sit and relax and catch up on some TV but nope, can't find remote anywhere so now I sit in silence.

I'm sure my house has some kind of alternate universe where things disappear to... TV remote, cutlery, one sock... utterly miffed.

I lose mine all the time. I now have a TV remote app on my phone so it's not such a big deal when it goes missing for 3 days 🤣

Had all the cushions off the sofa and looked under it, not there. Even checked the bin in the lounge, not there either.

@LBFseBrom I'm forever losing my phone, it's on ongoing joke now in out house. It was even worse when alexa let me down and after many months of asking her to find my phone, she one day told me I had to accept the new notification... on the lost phone 🤨

Is it In her bedroom ? I lost my keys last week bloody things were in the washing basket!

@KitchiHuritAngeni I have an app that I used to use all the time. Unfortunately DH changed the Internet last week, so now I need to accept the permissions for the app on the TV... using the remote.

You can down load a TV remote app.... Actually is a thing!

The sky q box makes the remote call a noise when you press a button on the b9x. It's been a lifesaver in our house.

Do you have your dressing gown on? If so, it's in your pocket.

I bought a spare and keep it safe as my lowest point was losing TWO remote controls

Also do you have an android phone? Ds lost his the other day and we have a Google account on it I told the Google account that we had lost the phone and it pinged it for us LOUDLY

We lost our remote a few years ago - looked everywhere! It turned up months after buying a new one - it had fallen on the floor and then got kicked so it ended up right in the back corner under the bookcase. I only found it when I spilt some rice which spread everywhere in the kitchen and I thoroughly hoovered under everything (open plan kitchen/living room). Get a torch and really look under everything.

Have you been to the bathroom and left it in there?

The one I use is called MyAV, it does freeview, sky, and the TV (I think it has other things like xbox on there too).

I have it set up for different rooms in my house and can switch easily between them.

When I got it, it was free for a week, then cost about a fiver, but I've had it for 3 or 4 years so it's well worth it.
