To ask who was BU?

Person A has an 8 year old son, he hasn't been to school all week as he had a fever and seemed unwell, Tuesday he was also complaining of stomach ache and he vomited once. She normally picks up Person B’s child from school but as her son wasn't at school, person B has has to pick up her own child this week and wasn't happy as she was having to leave work early. Today, person b went to town and saw Person A out with her son and called the school. Her reasonings are that if her son is well enough to be out, he can be in school.

Is person A in the wrong for keeping her child off school and taking him out or was person B for getting involved and reporting her?

B for Bellend. No more lifts for her DC.

Yep, this says it all. I really hope you're not person B, OP!

IntrovertedPenguin · 10/11/2022 16:56

Person B is a cunt.

Person A best sort her hours out at work so she can pick up her child! I'd refuse to have anything to do with B.

Notjusta · 10/11/2022 17:03

Wondering now if OP is person B? They've not come back to the thread and how else would they know for certain person B had reported them? Unless person B is not only an absolute arse but also a moron and has actually told OP what they did?

MandyMotherOfBrian · 10/11/2022 17:03

If Person B is so busy with work they can’t collect their own child, what were they doing swanning around town?

fenese4864 · 10/11/2022 17:14

I'm friends with both person A&B. Person A picks up person B’s child (and sometimes mine) as a favour and person B doesn't pay her. Person B wasn't happy as person A told her Monday morning at about 9/10am she couldn't pick up her DC.

Person B told me she told the school herself so I was wondering if I was BU by thinking she was. She told me she didn't know where they'd been but her child was eating a packet of crisps.

B for Bitch

An entitled bitch at that!

Butitsnotfunnyisititsserious · 10/11/2022 17:20

Hope person A doesn't offer anymore lifts to B. What an absolute twat B is!

Oh god! Well I'm glad you're not B at least, but now you're stuck in the middle of it all. Are you going to tell Person A?

Mrsherdwick · 10/11/2022 17:22

Person B is not a very nice person.

VisitingThem · 10/11/2022 17:23

Well you have the measure of Person B now.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 10/11/2022 17:26

I would not want to be 'friends' with someone I knew to be as spiteful and petty as B. I, personally, would tell A what you know and just leave B to fester in the consequences of her own actions.

Tannedandfake · 10/11/2022 17:27

I wouldn’t be picking up her child again, put it that way!

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 10/11/2022 17:28

Sure they could have been out at the doctors or just coming home from a hospital appointment or anything. Spiteful nasty thing that was done and I really wish karma wallops person B in the face now. No idea how you can keep being friends with a sneaky person like that either being honest.

dumbstruckdumptruck · 10/11/2022 17:29

She told me she didn't know where they'd been but her child was eating a packet of crisps

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The fact that THIS was the detail she chose to share is just GLORIOUS.

NurseBernard · 10/11/2022 17:29

If you were to look up ‘own goal’ in the dictionary, you’d see person B’s ugly mug staring back at you.

Person B obviously needs person A much more than A needs B. Why, if they need their child picked up so badly, would they jeopardise that?

Does person A know what’s happened?

Iloveacurry · 10/11/2022 17:30

B is a bitch. If I was A, I wouldn’t be helping B again.

MarigoldMoonStone · 10/11/2022 17:32

Person B is a arsehole

YellowTreeHouse · 10/11/2022 17:33

B’s a bitch and has burnt her bridges.

KillingLoneliness · 10/11/2022 17:35

Person B was being very unreasonable. Firstly she had no idea why they even went to town, secondly the child vomited on Tuesday so he isn’t even allowed back in school until Friday as long as he hasn’t vomited again since.

Onlyforcake · 10/11/2022 17:36

Person A probably had to get something, I'm not sure what the school are expected to do! They're likely to have a 48 hour rule ..... so they won't want him back! Person B is batshit and should probably look at a more formal arrangement for either their hours or their childcare.

i was wondering this too…

and will you tell B that at least 70+ people online think badly of her now? Some in much ruder language!
(guess you can’t now without blowing your cover? Unless you n/c?)

StrangerOnline · 10/11/2022 17:46

@fenese4864 shame you didn’t enable voting - I think this would’ve been a 100% one (didn’t notice any comments for A) and there’s always more votes than comments too

I know I won’t be the only one hoping you update us next week to tell us if A is still picking up B’s child after school…? 🤞TIA

Blueblell · 10/11/2022 17:48

I wouldn’t be picking person b’s child up again! What was she thinking?

Fladdermus · 10/11/2022 17:49

Person B is a snake. A snake who'll have to pick up her own child from now on.
