The hate the gift my DH bought

DH recently bought a huge inflatable armchair for the kids and it's caused me nothing but stress. There's been fights over who gets to use it and thrown around the house like a ball, I've had to move it out of the way from the stairs and doorways. The one time I packed it away it was just taken out again, blown up to a ludicrous size and DS blocked the valve with glue and tape.

I don't hate fun, and I like to think I can take a joke but the fact that that they've actually gone to the point of stopping me from packing it away feels like the last straw. DH doesn't seem to care, and I feel like I'm left cleaning up a mess he created

I got it and poked a few holes in the bottom with a needle last night, it's still standing so I'll add a few more tonight before going to bed. Looking forward to taking a knife to it once it's lost more air and has to go to the bin. I might get DC something smaller if they get hung up on losing this one, but I'm happy to know it'll soon be flat 😊

Based on this she will stick a few pins in the bf or gf. There's usually a good reason for having a dislike for someone, whoever they are.

OP - Best to add a few holes each night. A slow deflate is a lot less suspicious than a quick one.

You need “balloon mice” …. Small creatures that make a very small hole so it deflated slowly & needs to end up in the bin!

This sounds like my lightsabre fiasco. They ended up in toy prison on the regular.
Just a small pin prick on a seam will fix this. Slow punctures are inevitable with these, you're just speeding it along. 😂👍
