100% agree, It's utter crap. Smug and Squeak are past their sell-by date now, and CBA to turn up half the time, and the show is just shit. Diet tips, fashion section, relationship 'problems,' the Speakmans, Phil the 'Chef' and his cookery slot, Vanessa and her AIBU section.

Utter tripe. Needs cancelling.

I accidentally stumbled on it and saw the "cook" make coloured butters and smear them on a platter and decorate them. Grim.
A few days later the episode popped up on Gogglebox and was thoroughly slated.
But each to their own, I LOVE Blankety Blank.

It's awful. I'm another one that can't be done with Holly and Phil - why they are still presenting it is beyond me. Alison and Dermot are not any better. Ruth and Eamon are the best out of the lot of them but none are a patch on Richard and Judy!

It makes me think of Jeremy Kyle in that, were it to get suddenly axed, no one would give a shit. X factor was the same. People have it in on the background because it’s there and maybe out of habit but wouldn’t miss it if it wasn’t there. ITV can’t be arsed or just don’t have the brains to think of something to replace it with.

I enjoy it. I don’t actively sit and watch it as such but I like having it on in the background whilst I’m having my morning coffee and doing stuff on my phone or doing house stuff etc.

YANBU I've probably said this before but I think most of their viewing numbers come from dentist waiting rooms and work break rooms.

My MIL and FIL love it, and love all the shows that my two least favourite duos the vacuous Phil and Holly and Ant and Dec are on. They voted Brexit and are brain dead, so perhaps it’s a thing with right wing boomers?

It's dire, all the presenters are dire you have resident shite like Phil and Holly, then you have fillers in like Dermot o'dreary.

Does anyone honestly believe that The NTA's aren't fixed, of course ITV's highest paid daytime "stars" are going to win their highest paid and of course their highest paid primetime "stars" will win, even though most viewers can't stand them.

I can’t stand Phil and Holly but I still enjoy the guests they have on and the content. It’s like a light hearted magazine, a bit like scrolling through a Tv version of take a break 😆

Irish person here. Our equivalent is Maura and Daithi, forgotten what’s it’s actually called, but it’s much better. Still lightweight but has far more personality and charm.

I wish the monopoly of Holly/Phil/Ant & Dec/Keith Lemon on ITV would end. It's embarrassing. Not sure why they are so protected in terms of their offscreen antics, either.

The whole ITV response to the queue jumping incident completely ignores the fact that this is really a public backlash over Phil's superinjunction playing out.

The problem is it's good as background noise so people will put it on while looking after kids or working etc. I liked it years ago but don't like phill or holly, they both seem like awful people so wouldn't watch it now.

I think most day time TV is aimed squarely at the hard of thinking.

OMG I don’t watch this morning and think it’s rubbish TV. But the sheer amount of CONSTANT bashing the the show and its presenters get on here convince me that a large number of mumsnetters are actually insanely jealous of the attractive presenters with cushy jobs, and this just a good old-fashioned green-eyed bitch-fest!
