Sick of fiend inviting me to stay?

Any activity we do my friend will always say “you should stay at mine”.

I like meeting up with friend but I don’t feel the need to constantly stay at her house. I’m an adult I have my own house.

Like we met for lunch and a couple of drinks (in a town that’s about same distance for both of us to get to but in opposite directions) and she asked if I was staying at hers.

… Like why would I carry around an overnight bag to stay at hers? And stay at hers when it would be the same distance for me to get home?

That’s just one example. She doesn’t live alone either so it’s not a loneliness thing.

Apologies, I missed the lighthearted element @BEAM123
Seen far too much ill-suppressed ignorant homophobia round these parts not to pick up on what looked like an implication that gay woman = predatory sex pest who cannot control herself around straights.

Geez....
Well I'm sorry you've had those experiences. I haven't seen that here.

All I have seen in past threads is the irony of occasional bouts of straight women piling on gay women to tell them they are homophobic for some comment they made that is clearly gay humour.

@KettrickenSmiled I think I like it because it doesn’t happen very often, and then when we do have house guests, it’s usually friends/family who want come so I enjoy the additional time together (as opposed to A lunch or dinner that has a set time limit) - the like a late cup of tea or wine, breakfasts etc - if it happened too much or for too long, I’d get a bit jittery and want my space back - but 1-3 nights I could handle with happiness 😅
