Words/phrases you never say…

I see a lot of language on mumsnet and other places that I just can’t imaging myself ever writing/saying.

Some that spring to mind:

Batshit crazy
Yummy
Hubby
Super (as in “that was super tasty”)

All of the above make me shudder. What words/terms do you see used a lot that would never come out of your mouth?!

Only X more sleeps until........I really dislike that phrase.

Ooh yes “sleeps”… why not just say “x days until”?!

I cannot bear "little man".

"Reach out". Makes me cringe every time.

I’m incapable of writing could of/should of.

Also the use of "boob" as a verb.

Hahaha I was only thinking this morning after reading a thread on here that I never ever say 'super'

I also never say 'cross' as in It made me really cross

I described someone as having "yummy eyes" the other day and immediately cringed at myself. Yum and yummy are wedged in my vocabulary. I absolutely detest when people say "om nom nom" and fear that yum may give others the same reaction 😅

Famalam gives me the rage! Although perhaps other people get annoyed by “ the rage” lol 🤣
” I turned around to her & I said….”. My friend told me his Dad’s hilarious response to this phrase :- “ What are you an f …ing ballet dancer?”!!! 🤣

Little man is terrible

Calling yourself mummy when no child is near. Saying everything is lush.

Overly. Hubby, Should of. Guys. Brew. Shot (instead of injection) makes me think of injured animals, Majorly. Wait time instead of waiting time. Can I get a coffee? Fur baby - never heard this being said but it is ghastly. Many more when I can think of them! May well post again.!

Holibobs, should of, I borrowed him (instead of lent), om nom nom, lush, rainbow bridge, fur baby, chimkin ( according to Facebook memes, this is how dogs ‘ pronounce’ the word chicken), ‘like’ when used to mean nothing at all. 😫😫😫
