just so he can buy me some krispy kreme donuts?

They look so nice and nowhere round here sells them.

Are they nice?

Is he willing to go?

KatyMac · 27/01/2008 18:06

Well they will be closed now - won't they?

katylessbumpy · 27/01/2008 18:06

get the custard filled ,chocolate iced, divine imo
make him go!

needmorecoffee · 27/01/2008 18:06

they aren't as nice as they look you know. And thats a lot of pollution for some sugar. Get some choccy instead from the local shop

lazarou · 27/01/2008 18:06

Hmmm, I think maybe he will laugh if I suggest it. He has been taking the shed down all day.

OP posts:
Kimi · 27/01/2008 18:07

they are about a zillion calories each
Also wont tesco be shut now? Its Sunday hours.

katylessbumpy · 27/01/2008 18:07

good point about them being shut.i just saw krisy kreme and i started drooling

lazarou · 27/01/2008 18:08

It will be shut, maybe he will hang around outside until they open....

Kimi · 27/01/2008 18:10

Are you pregnant????

lazarou · 27/01/2008 18:30

No, not pregnant, I just love the look of those donuts. I wonder if you can order them online and have them delivered. I really want to try them.

OP posts:
Pan · 27/01/2008 18:38

yes, why not. It's one of those open-and-shut cases of "ruin the planet versus eating some doughnuts?" Easy!!

lazarou · 27/01/2008 18:40

Just had some chocolate NMC, but the yearning for the krispy kreme is still there.

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 27/01/2008 18:41

are you sure you're not pregnant? This sounds like a pregnancy obsession to me! I think YABU unless you are indeed incubating young which would upgrade you to YANBU

lazarou · 27/01/2008 18:42

OK NL, if being pregant would make me not unreasonable, then yes, I am pregnant

Grin
needmorecoffee · 27/01/2008 18:44

heheheheh. Let no man stand between a woman and her donuts is what I say

EllieG · 27/01/2008 18:46

I tried one and they really aren't that much cop. Just taste very fake and fatty to me - no different to a normal doughnut and considerably less nice than some.

lazarou · 27/01/2008 18:50

Oh Ellie, don't say that!

OP posts:
Alambil · 27/01/2008 18:57

They are just as nice as normal donuts and four times as expensive!!

Must admit their apple n cinnamon ones are nice though, but would rather have a BBs muffin!

lunavix · 27/01/2008 18:58

lol will little tesco on northbrook street not still be open?

big tesco def will be

EllieG · 27/01/2008 19:00

I'm sorry, it's best to know. The memory of trying one after getting so excited and it being no different to an ordinary doughnut still hurts. I only wish someone could have told me and saved me that pain.
