Camembert?

We're having a picky tea. Freezer bits and a baked Camembert with crusty bread.

Dh is digging in but I'm sat here thinking I could probs scoff the whole thing

Could you? What's your greedy pig go to?

@PeloFondo Edinburgh rock! DH introduced this to me when I was pregnant and its been a firm favourite since. He buys me a pack every year but then everyone starts eyeing up the ginger ones...get away! It's mine 🐷

Just eating a whole bar of Mrs Tilly”s tablet.
This is why I live in England, if I had unrestricted access to MrsTilly’s Tablet, Fisher and Donaldson fudge donuts and white puddings, I would be dead!

You do know that Mrs Tilly has an online shop?

ThisShitsBananas · 15/10/2022 19:26

When I was pregnant I ate an entire rotisserie chicken in my car on my lunch break.

XenoBitch · 15/10/2022 19:26

Sharing bags of crisps, and Pringles. I can eat a whole bag/tube in one sitting.
I avoid buying multipacks of crisps as I will eat them all in the same evening too.

Also, Tesco chicken wings. 1.2kg... I can finish off all by myself in one sitting too.

LeFeu · 15/10/2022 19:27

Yes I would eat a whole Camembert, with a French stick…or a wedge of port salut.

any loaf/stick of nice bread tbh. Olive bread especially.

bag of haribo star mix as well, proper guilty pleasure.

spicy stuff. Jalapeño crisps, packet of noodles with spicy sauce, salt and black pepper kettle chips.

bag of jam doughnuts 😳

Georgesgrumpymedicine · 15/10/2022 19:27

Yanbu calling it a picky tea!! Sounds gross!

1FootInTheRave · 15/10/2022 19:28

Flyers. Those liquorice sticks with sugar/sherbert in the middle.

ShowOfHands · 15/10/2022 19:28

I generally can't overeat but after having DS - 38hr labour with no food - I ate six caramel chocolate digestives in around 30 seconds.

I agree with a pp that leftover roast or leftover leeks/broccoli in cheese sauce would be my nemesis. In fact, boxing day is my favourite food day of the year.

True. It's a vile phrase.

When I was pregnant I ate an entire rotisserie chicken in my car on my lunch break.

I ate one of these sitting on the bed in my hotel room when I was away working and couldn't be bothered to go out and get dinner - I had some carrot sticks with it. I was not pregnant 😀

Cinders88 · 15/10/2022 19:32

Embarrassingly, I have eaten a whole packet of chocolate covered Hobnobs with a coffee .. and I probably could have eaten more 😳 they’re just so good!

TheNoodlesIncident · 15/10/2022 19:34

@PortiasBiscuit and @whoruntheworldgirls Have you seen this glorious product?

OMG. I wish I hadn't seen this. That pudding wasn't even mine, it was my brother's. He lives in Scotland and I don't, it's not safe... 😂

whoruntheworldgirls · 15/10/2022 19:37

@TheNoodlesIncident OMG that sounds amazing! Guessing can only be bought in Scotland ☹️ best plan a visit 😋

W00p · 15/10/2022 19:39

Any Pringles.

AutumnalLeaves38 · 15/10/2022 19:41

Just polished off 700g of lemon & garlic olives.

Could quite happily exist on them.

I ate loads of Camembert once. Put me in hospital with gall bladder pain. Had to stay in a week for scan . Later had it removed.
Still love camembert though lol

I did something very similar, except I gave myself horrific biliary colic! Miraculously I still have my gallbladder and my love of Camembert 😁😁

PinkSox · 15/10/2022 19:44

I’ve just polished off a large box of Lindt balls. I could happily eat your Camembert now OP. If there’s any left you’re free to throw it my way. I’d be happy to help you out ☺️

FistFullOfRegrets · 15/10/2022 19:45

Yes to the Camembert!!

I low carb, but if I fall off the wagon I do it properly & no carb is safe!!

All gone! We had pigs in blankets too whixh I could have demolished if ds hadn't beaten me to it!

Those fucking almond and pistachio cookies from M&S I'd never heard about until they popped up on a 'what should I get from M&S?' thread.

Of course I had to see what all the fuss was about and I'm currently buying a packet every other day 🙄

I once ate an entire Waitrose essential tiramisu, it was ace but I felt so sick afterwards.

my own Bruce Bogtrotter moment.

Only Waitrose would consider tiramisu an essential!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 15/10/2022 19:59

Sour cream and chives Pringles.

queenatom · 15/10/2022 20:01

Sourdough bread with salted butter - reckon I could probably eat this indefinitely
Chocolate orange
Tube of cheese and chive Pringles
Massive pot of spaghetti carbonara
Family sized bag of Starmix
Higgidy red pepper and feta rolls
Fried halloumi - full block, no problem

This is why I can't be trusted with food

queenatom · 15/10/2022 20:01

My dinner is still 20 minutes from ready and this thread is making me starving
