He's sat on this for 7 years. 7 years of so many ridiculous shenanigans that he could have tweeted this to 🤭

I'm hoping this means this is it

Would be hilarious if Cameron has finally deleted it. Twitter keeps receipts though 🤭

That man has a lot to answer for
sat with his trotters up in the south of France

Romeoalpha · 14/10/2022 23:23

Oh sorry I see it now!
Weirdly I got a ‘post has been deleted’ message when I clocked last time.

Kendodd · 14/10/2022 23:26

Oh if only he had won the 2015 GE!
We wouldn't have had any of the car crash of the last seven years.

Bunnyfuller · 14/10/2022 23:29

Just rt’d to David Cameron. Fucking bellend

Somewhere out there is a parallel universe where we’re 7 years into a Labour government… I’m dying to know what it’s like. Obviously it’s better than this omnishambles!!

paintitallover · 14/10/2022 23:36

I wonder how many years they have to be in government before it isn't someone else's fault?

I wasn't a Corbynite, but at least he was right about the childishness of politics. We've all grown up now;-it needs to stop. Answering a fucking straight question, and admitting when you're wrong!

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 14/10/2022 23:38

Oh Ed, how many times have you nearly posted that? And tonight is the nadir of their rule :)
Yes I voted for you.

IntentionalError · 14/10/2022 23:38

Miliband appears to have overlooked his own culpability for this fiasco. Firstly, in 2015, he lost a general election he could, and should, have won.

Then he enabled the hard Left to take over the Labour Party by changing the rules on who was entitled to vote in leadership elections. His ‘three quid to vote’ scheme allowed mass infiltration by both Trotskyites and Tories, resulting in the useless, unelectable Corbyn becoming leader.

Yes this Trussterfuck is Labour's fault 🤭

The global economic crash of 2008 was also all Labour’s fault apparently.

Bunnyfuller · 14/10/2022 23:45

@22pink there are more issues than that. You know that, right?

Terftrain · 14/10/2022 23:49

Are you saying that Labour have been a worthy opposition party during this time and it’s mystifying why the working classes have voted Tory instead?

Dragonskin · 15/10/2022 00:01

The wrong Miliband was put in, I bet David could have actually won

Partially, yes. And I say that as a former Labour activist.

A party which elects Corbyn as its candidate for PM is not serious about winning or governing. It capitulates and hands victory to its opponents, whether they are the Tories in England or the SNP in Scotland.

Is Corbyn still leader? I'm guessing so from the amount of times his name has been invoked over the chaos of the last few years

OP posts:
IntentionalError · 15/10/2022 00:18

In case you had forgotten, Corbyn was Labour’s leader at the last General Election. The one which the Tories won a landslide. The one in which they won in Mansfield, Ashfield, Blyth Valley, Stoke-on-Trent Central etc etc. Places which had never in their history elected a Tory before. The ‘Trussterfuck’ couldn’t have happened without that election victory.

baroqueandblue · 15/10/2022 00:18

Funny how Corbyn did so well in the 2017 GE May called, and spooked the right wing mainstream media in the process. Suddenly he was marked as public enemy no 1 and it was diabolical what that same media (and the turncoats in his own party) then did to him. Read the Forde Report, or some of the analysis of it, and educate yourself.

If only he'd not eaten that bacon sandwich.

Never a fan but his performance in Parliament taking Jacob Rm to account about fracking was absolutely statesmanlike. Keir should bring him back.

Mind you Yvette Cooper was on R5 tonight and was hoping she was going to be fabulous. Alas Her performance was weak and full of soundbites. She made Truss seem energetic. Was sooooo disappointed

Women don’t exist any more.

77000 women have died as a result of austerity in the UK

Conservative policies being discussed currently have the potential to undermine maternity benefits, childcare costs etc etc

The number of women who have had to give up work because of the cost of childcare has risen 5% in the last year alone

Tories might know who women are but only so that they can fuck them over

LikeTearsInRain · 15/10/2022 00:47

He was unelectable he couldn’t even eat a bacon sandwich
