Please… somebody tell me I’m not the only person to find her so completely tone deaf, given her position as an “influencer” and the current economy?!

OP posts:
TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 14/10/2022 18:28

She’s no worse than any other ‘influencer’.

HighlandPony · 14/10/2022 18:28

As a home help and former cleaner a lot of her tips are just fads.

Kanaloa · 14/10/2022 18:30

All influencers are a bit tone deaf - they make their living off trying to influence you into buying stuff. To do that they need to make that stuff look appealing. As influencers go, at least she’s encouraging people to buy cleaning sprays rather than sports cars.

I guess my main opinion on her is that she’s very avoidable. You can just not follow her and you’re unlikely to see her.

boogieboogie · 14/10/2022 18:31

I don't mind her, lots of people like her. Yes it's annoying seeing someone rich when you're not but if it's bothering you maybe unfollow her. If you read her books you'll know she doesn't live without issues. Her Son is clearly autistic and she gets a lot of hate online. She suffers with anxiety and depression. Don't hate her, feel a bit sorry for her..

MsSquiz · 14/10/2022 18:31

If you don't like her, don't follow or watch her social media posts. Pretty easy to avoid really...

PoundOfNesh · 14/10/2022 18:31

How is she tone deaf?

im not a fan, but to claim being an influencer is being tone deaf atm is a bit of a stretch

MeowMeowPowerRangers · 14/10/2022 18:31

I find her boring so I don't watch her. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She's a bit of a has been though I heard?

miceonabranch · 14/10/2022 18:32

She uses too many chemicals which is bad for the environment.

35965a · 14/10/2022 18:32

All influencers are awful

You're a bit late to that party, the Mrs Hinch hate has been done to death

mamabear715 · 14/10/2022 18:32

Heard of her & that's it. Can't stand 'influencers' in any shape or form.

EsmeSusanOgg · 14/10/2022 18:32

I just don't follow her. Not my bag.

saltofcelery · 14/10/2022 18:33

Well...considering she started several different instagrams at once (hair, cleaning, home, etc) in an attempt to be an influencer and it happened to be a particular one to set off her "fame", I do have an opinion.

Have you ventured onto Tattle? It is eye opening, especially the Wiki.

groeggmeg · 14/10/2022 18:34

My opinion of Mrs Hinch is that she's a vulture like the rest of the influencer community. She plays this 'I don't know how this happened to me' act when like most insta influencers their rise to fame is finely orchestrated.

I hate the influencer culture and I think its so toxic to today's society.

thistimelastweek · 14/10/2022 18:36

Handy tips always seems to boil down to baking soda and vinegar.
Righto

Pottedpalm · 14/10/2022 18:37

Pleased to say I’m completely un-influenced by any ‘influencer’. I have heard of Mrs Hinch, she is the Zoflora woman?
is Spencer Matthews wife an influencer? The one on the wash tabs ads who thinks she knows more than the rest of about raising children in all-white environments?

Crumpleton · 14/10/2022 18:45

First port of call is to not get sucked into buying products that these influencers peddle unless you need them.
There are one or two out there with good advice but the minute I see them advertising goods I scroll on.

I cannot understand how people recommend her book for healthy weaning recipes. It’s nearly all cheese and pastry, and is so poorly written, it’s full of typos

NameChangeLifeChange · 14/10/2022 18:47

I don’t mind her fame or cleaning but it’s the plastic waste and encouragement to buy loads of tat from B&M bargains that I find out of touch. Think of the environment! You don’t need plastic boxes inside your fridge to store food. You don’t need a pile of plastic pumpkins outside your house. God help out plant when there’s people out there who literally couldn’t care less.

maddiemookins16mum · 14/10/2022 18:52

I got/get better advice/tips on how to ‘keep house’ from my Mother, Mother in Law and The Dairy Book of Home Management.

I can’t stand ‘Influencers’.

boogieboogie · 14/10/2022 18:53

@IDontDrinkTea Agreed!
I mean the food looks amazing from what I've seen but it's not doing her and her daughter any good.. also she only posts close up selfies/videos of her face so she knows to cover her body because it's bad advertisement, to be fair I should probably unfollow her..

I’ve never actually seen any of her posts, I’ve heard of her but wouldn’t know her if I tripped over her in B&M bargains.

All the influencer stuff mostly baffles me, I guess I just wish I’d realised that cleaning my house and using storage containers that ikea have been selling for years was of interest, I thought it was just average life 😆

DisforDarkChocolate · 14/10/2022 18:56

Feck she's dull. I honestly feel depressed by how flecking dull her house/clothes/products are.

And all those chemicals!!!
