I love rich tea. Not not a fan of digestive's. And all biscuit dining is wrong!

LikeTearsInRain · 10/10/2022 22:28

You can’t have a rich tea with cheese so yes they are very different

SpringIntoChaos · 10/10/2022 22:31

Eh?? Is he mad??

JaneJeffer · 10/10/2022 22:32

He's bonkers. Rich Tea biscuits are baked Polyfilla.

cathcath2 · 10/10/2022 22:32

Does he have any tastebuds?

dotty636 · 10/10/2022 22:32

I find this post offensive !! Digestive biscuits are the best

My father used to call rich tea "sensory deprivation biscuits".

allboysherebutme · 10/10/2022 22:37

Of course they're different. X

LTB

Digestives are a good basic biscuit, that can easily be fancied up with chocolate, butter or cheese.

Rich tea is not a proper biscuit. It is cardboard masquerading as a biscuit.

I have warned my Mother that offering people a biscuit when you only have Rich Tea is likely to get her murdered and no jury in the land would convict.

JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon · 10/10/2022 22:57

Bloody hell for a minute there I thought I might have to divorce the DH!

I asked his opinion on this conundrum and he told me that Rich Tea aren't bad.

Upon further questioning it transpires that this is because fundamentally he doesn't accept there can be a bad biscuit. Phew divorce on hold. So I asked him if Rich Tea were the most disappointing biscuit, and he said no 😱

He then told me of the horror that is the rich tea finger..... 😱😱😱😱😱😱

Tonty · 10/10/2022 23:02

Biscuits1011 · 10/10/2022 22:19

He says they are just both round and bland 😳. He says neither are dunkable, he will only dunk biscuits with chocolate on 👀

im packing my bags and emptying the joint account as we speak.

"Neither are dunkable"

He needs to wash his mouth out, the outrage!

BitOutOfPractice · 10/10/2022 23:04

Is he abusive in other ways op?

AdoraBell · 10/10/2022 23:06

Has he eaten both types of biscuits?

Team Rich Tea. I can't believe all the hate! They're so deliciously crunchy and light, yet satisfying and substantial at the same time. Need to get me some rich tea biscuits now.

I agree with you and Rich Tea do dunk well. Mind you I think digestives have the edge as they can also go well with cheese. Digestive and a nice little piece of Cheshire, mmm!

Crumbs OP, your DH is crackers.

JudgeJ · 10/10/2022 23:30

They're chocolate digestives and Bahlsen Choco Leibniz when you've licked or nibbled all the chocolate off, totally different.

KimberleyClark · 10/10/2022 23:30

Rich tea and digestive are completely different. You can’t eat rich tea with cheese for one thing.

JudgeJ · 10/10/2022 23:31

Make sure you get custody of the biscuit barrel, tin, whatever's you're fancy.

wherearebeefandonioncrisps · 10/10/2022 23:34

Don't pack your bags, pack his bags . He is being utterly unreasonable! Why are you still with him???
The man's a loon.

Ooh I love a rich tea finger! The risk when you dunk it! It’s the unexpected plain clothes biscuit of thrill seekers

PinkButtercups · 10/10/2022 23:36

What a weirdo.

oviraptor21 · 10/10/2022 23:38

Well he is clearly BU but then so is the PP who suggested eating digestives with cheese...... yeeuch 🤮

Of course you can eat digestives with cheese, the cheese biscuit selection boxes always contain some.

Re the OPs DH - he's nuts, obv. Dunking chocolate biscuits is wrong.
Actually the only biscuits that really should be dunked are ginger nuts or biscott.
