AIBU to think that Johnny Depp’s alleged lady friend must be really keen to embark on a relationship with him when there is still so much public interest following the trial?
Would imagine the media circus will be intense.
Glad to see he is finally in a relationship with someone his own age (presumably).

I don’t understand why people Obsess about him so much and I don’t believe he was entirely innocent I heard the tapes
He was in a very abusive And toxic relationship which was two way
I’m glad he’s moved on and he’s not happy he has not been with his ex for quite awhile now so I guess he’s moving on.

I think it will be fascinating when it all goes tits up. As it will, inevitably. Its all fun and games at the start, then peoples' real behaviour begins to come out through familiarity. Will be interesting to see what a lawyer does if things go wrong.

Great entertainment from Mr Depp, although no longer purely through films.

Reactive abuse is a strange thing.

Well, you might be surprised but they all seem to come crashing eventually...some say that he courts are a circus filled with frustrated thespians, so I can see the appeal. I just think the potential for her to make it public and describe it very eloquently if it fails are massive.

I would have thought he was about 20 years older than her but then I have forgotten how old Jonny actually is.

Johnny Depp is 59, from what I saw at the trial I would have said she was a similar age, apparently not. She is allegedly married with children, but divorcing. Just hope the relationship with Depp isn’t the reason for her divorce, because if it is I fear she will rue the day, due to his allegedly chaotic lifestyle….drink and drugs. I can see the appeal, he’s a mesmerising actor and was spectacular looking in his younger days and still is handsome, but he seems to attract chaos. He always seemed happy as a family man with Vanessa Paradis, shame that failed.

He sounds like a difficult person to be in a relationship with - drink, drugs, mental health problems, self harm issues. The nasty, misogynistic way he spoke about his ex partners in text is concerning and surely there's always the risk he would cheat on her with a younger model like he cheated in his ex wife with AH. Also not very professional on her part to date a client. Will end in tears, no doubt.

I certainly wouldn’t be giving up my marriage thinking I’d be the one to make JD into a faithful man.
i also wouldn’t want to risk my professional reputation if I was her.

It's not the same lawyer he had during the trial. She was an American woman. This woman helped him several years ago.

I'm amazed any sane woman will take him on after the trial and related events have shown us who he is. Shudder. A hefty donation to Women's Aid from Mr Depp wouldn't go amiss.

I think He came across well during the trial and admitted to his demons.
My amazement is that any woman with a family would be wanting to get entangled in the circus that continues to surround him at the present time. I’m not questioning the suitability of Mr Depp himself.

It seems to be an anathema for high profile (usually) male celebrities to date a woman of a similar age to themselves. His first wife who he married nearly 40 years ago is in her sixties now.

Good luck to him but I agree that she looks well into her 50s, she can’t be 30’s, which will probably be a good thing for him, he’ll surely be better with someone his own age.

Seeing as she’s 37yo it’s likely her kids won’t be that old. She’s divorcing the kids dad. She spent a lengthy period of time in the USA for the Depp trial there so guess she either left her kids with their dad or took them with her to America. Neither option sounds very settling for the kids.
