Someone I know posted this, leading to a pile on of “love this”, “I’m sharing this babe” and so on.
It just seems to be a long winded “take me as you find me”.And it’s more than likely American.

What’s the attraction to this sort of thing?

Of course. Because people who post like this are bullies. If you actually fall in with that kind of crap they recognise you as being weak.

Tbh this type of crap is literally a text about woman

The motivation is to get loads of ‘U R amazin hun, don’t let ne1 tell u different xxx’ posts in response.

It’s the same with people who announce their intention to do a ‘cull’ of their friend list. They just want desperadoes to chime in with ‘Hope I make the cut, I love reading your posts, so funny/insightful/interesting’ and so on. They never just delete people without the announcement.

Only a certain kind of person tends to post and share these memes- People and like easily digestible soundbites to copy.

The oldstyle type of thing were A4 paper posters saying “You don’t have to be mad to work here, but it helps”.

I actually have a friend who didn’t copy and paste one of these MH posts, someone who has genuine MH issues and she sent her a message saying she never realised what an unfeeling selfish bitch she was. Friend was really upset, I pointed out what a sad little life the woman must have to have spent time checking to see who had copied and pasted and sending all those messages.

I unfriend people who post the copy and paste shit. And if they’re close enough not to want to unfriend I tell them that it’s all meaningless crap.

Men dont indulge in crap like this.

It's a pile of wank. I ignore but am really tempted to block friends and family who post this bollocks.

This is one of the reasons I left Facebook, complete fucking drivel.

But what if I wake up at 2am with an inexplicable need to know what someone I worked with five years ago is doing now? Or if I want to buy dodgy MLM aloe vera products that have been kept in someone's shed?

And I've never seen a man post this kind of thing. Not saying they don't post dross too, but it's a different kind. DH has a FB 'friend' who's male and does MLM, and keeps him around as his posts and 'just jumping onto a live!' are unintentionally hilarious.
