My friend has just surprised me with his comments. Thinks The Queen has been in one place after her death and not been ferried around in a coffin for 12 days, because it's all for show and the Royal Family lie!! WTF. I said do you a hundred percent believe that, to which he replied a firm yes! I asked what else he thought they lie about and he couldn't really answer until he said about Princess Diana covering up the identity of Harry's father.

Absoloutely baffled. Changed my opinion of him slightly. I hate conspiracy theories! He's a good friend too.

I know loads of people who don't believe she was in the coffin. People don't believe they would allow something as valuable as the Queen's body and the crown jewels to be so close to the public or transported so openly in case anything happened to them.

We'll never know for certain and tbh, I don't care either way.

Nah, they'd have left it a bit longer if that was the idea. As it stands, we've already had one extra Bank Holiday which is quite expensive in terms of the economy, so logically if there was a conspiracy they would want to put off her "dying" to around June next year.

She wasn't in the coffin. Too much risk of someone or a small group damaging or defacing it. People do all kinds of things when they have a 'cause'.

It's not really a conspiracy. It's totally feasible. Sensible. No one is harmed by it.

Well I was chatting with a lovely neighbour a few months ago who let drop about all the elites actually being lizards/played by other characters as smokescreens. She said she wonders who plays the queen (because she couldn't possibly be real). I ended up saying something wet along rhe lines of "Hmm that's an interesting idea but I'm not all that convinced".Anyway, if it's true then I bet the coffin is empty and the lizard queen is off elsewhere up to no good by now.

I don't think your friend's conspiracy is that bad, not enough to put me off them in any way.

Also...it doesn't matter. Whether she was in the box or not is irrelevant. The whole thing was about ceremony, tradition, mourning and celebration. You can do that with or without the body. It adds nothing.

Also, body or not - someone intent on disruption would target the same places with the same motivation. I don’t believe extinction rebellion passed by the opportunity to glue themselves to the queens casket because her body might not have actually been in there.

I heard a splendid conspiracy around the fact that this is all part of the so-called Great Reset, and her death was somehow carefully engineered as part of a plot part of which involves bringing Trump back into power. 😡 It's just a tad difficult to understand why they need to find a conspiracy when a 96 year old dies, it's hardly unexpected. Plus, of course, there isn't much point trying to engineer the death of someone that age, she may well jump the gun on you and die early and mess up all your plans.

You've got to feel sorry for those who think this stuff. Obviously undiagnosed mental disorder which may get worse over time.

It's very sad especially for their families. The person themselves don't know they're ill so often don't engage with treatments. Tragic.

I don't think it's crazy to question whether or not she was in the travelling coffin. We don't know what actually happened to her body and the logistics have been hidden from the public (rightly so, imo). People say she was embalmed but if that was the case she must have been taken from Balmoral at some point for the process without us knowing. How did they get the coffin to Balmoral to put her in it without anyone seeing? Plenty opportunities to 'switch' over the boxes if that's what you want to believe.

I'd find it hard to care whether her body was actually in the coffin for the funeral or the lying in state or not, really. She's dead and they've buried her regardless. Paying respects is pretty much symbolic when it's a closed coffin anyway; it's not like when people go to actually see the dead body laid out. I personally think it's highly unlikely that they had her squirrelled away somewhere else the whole time, but as conspiracy theories go it's not an outlandish one.

The Harry/Hewitt thing is absolute guff. Hewitt had never even met his mother when he was born.

Believing that the Queen actually died ages ago and was 'replaced by a body double' is so utterly absurd that I barely know where to start.

It's absolutely a conspiracy. And for those saying it's a mild one it may well but the nature of conspiracy theories is that once they start to sick people in they balloon. The Queen not being in her own coffin is a gateway conspiracy.

Apart from hair colour, I've always thought Harry looks like Charles and Philip - they all have very close-set eyes.

I don't care if she's in there or not. But should I be worried that I soon be thinking she's a lizard?
