My DSis' 98yo MIL died recently. The family had been "gathering" on a fairly regular basis for nearly a decade.

The guy who just spoke "not wanting to say too much" just made it abundantly clear she's dead. Trying very hard to speak cryptically but failed miserably.

Be great if she was sitting in bed with a cuppa asking her family what the fuck is going on outside

Huw certainly sounded emphatic when saying 'It's now one minute past six.

People don’t pass to order to fit in with prime time news schedules. My FIL bounced back twice from his last rites, the third and last time he dragged it over for three weeks with a 24 presence at the bed. We can never know - maybe there is hope.
If only Huw would switch into a track suit we could all breathe a sigh of relief.

I can’t help but think they might be moving abit premature with this rolling news. IF she is on end of life care, it could be weeks. They can’t do these broadcasts for weeks on end could they? I remember with my nana we got the call saying it could be any time and she soldiered on for 7 weeks on syringe drivers
