My brother's mother-in-law in her 80s is a wonderful person . the great matriarch , fantastic mother and grandmother pillar of the community, church goer and a kind caring, the person who fills every day with work and selfless support for community ventures. She currently acts as an unpaid volunteer in the local heritage centre and was previously a JP. She is also a conservative party member, voted for Liz Truss, voted for Brexit and thinks Boris should never have been deposed. We used to along with my brother and nephew joust at family get together good-naturedly and with passion. I'm more reserved now at going there as my passions are high and I love her too much to let chin wag get in the way of loving family relations.
If that's you @derxa I will see you at Christmas! If not I'm sure her advice would be to get off the internet and do something more useful instead. sage advice indeed. I'm not going to list what I do for my partner, the community, my family or charity because in the context of this discussion it's frankly irrelevant. But I refer the right honourable lady again to the words of a fine Tory PM I hope she takes them to heart.
