And I don't feel even the slightest bit unreasonable. In fact, I bought them knowing that I'd sit and eat them all as soon as I got home.

What do you regularly buy, knowing that you will use/eat the lot of it?

Lindt salted caramel chocolate
Those honey roasted peanuts I think you can only buy at Christmas
Cookie dough ice cream
Kellogg’s crunchy nut peanut butter
Cadbury caramel chocolate spread
Buttercream sponge cakes
Frangipane mince pies with cream
God I could go on and on!!

rosiepozis · 29/08/2022 19:14

Hall’s cherry and blackberry cough sweets

Liquorice allsorts

MissMarplesGoddaughter · 29/08/2022 19:14

I cannot be trusted around -

Chocolate covered raisins
Mini magnums

Ifeelsuchafool · 29/08/2022 19:15

Ryeburns Ice-cream. I can eat a family sized tub in one sitting, no probs. Blush

WeAllHaveWings · 29/08/2022 19:15

I can barely eat one French Fancy they are so sickly sweet.

2 packs of jaffa cakes (to be fair they are tiny now!) or a full tub of Haagan Daaz etc no problem, french fancies or anything with icing then🤢!

Georgeskitchen · 29/08/2022 19:15

Great thread!!
Utter piggery in all its glory 🥰🥰🐷🐷 🤣

losingit31 · 29/08/2022 19:16

I have stopped now but...
family bag of peanut M&Ms
regular bag of licorice allsorts or jelly babies
box of maltesers
8 pack of jammie dodgers
large quantities of chocolate coated malted milk

Timeturnerplease · 29/08/2022 19:17

A punnet of raspberries and Nutella. Cannot have both in the house at once. Weirdly am fine with either one on its own.

Minikievs · 29/08/2022 19:17

Whole box of Viennese whirls often disappears in one go here. Has to be Aldi ones though, not crappy Mr Kipling

TreacsPotNoodle · 29/08/2022 19:17

Olives
Pringles
Popcorn
Percy pigs

Notanotherwindow · 29/08/2022 19:17

Jaffa cakes, salt and vinegar pringles and the big bars of Cadbury marvellous creations

Minikievs · 29/08/2022 19:18

Jaffa cakes are fair game too although they make my gums hurt after a while

HelloTreacle9 · 29/08/2022 19:18

Regularly:
All The Cheese
Entire packs of salami

I cannot have sharing bags of Sainos cheese balls or salt and vinegar chipsticks in the house b/c I will eat the whole lot.

And I don’t really have a sweet tooth but can’t be trusted with Jamaica Ginger Cake or pastel de nata.

Imissmoominmama · 29/08/2022 19:18

I’ve just eaten two Mars ice creams…

oviraptor21 · 29/08/2022 19:19

Oh yes - more from the not too distant past
8 packs of Tunnocks caramel wafers
All of a Maltesers sharing box

DobbyTheHouseElk · 29/08/2022 19:19

They are sooo tiny now. 6 mouthfuls and they are gone. I don’t buy them because one isn’t enough.

Jaffa cakes, I shouldn’t buy because I will eat them in one go.

jennakong · 29/08/2022 19:20

I see you can now buy that 'Lotus' stuff, that they make the little caramelised biscuits out of, as a spread in a big jar. So I will not be buying it. Because I know how shamefully I would let myself down if that was in the cupboard.

Taillighttoobright · 29/08/2022 19:20

Nuts. Cashew nuts. I want some now, just typing this.

EugeneLevysEyebrow · 29/08/2022 19:21

A pack of six Cadburys crème eggs. That’s the true meaning of Easter right there.

vera16 · 29/08/2022 19:21

Tunnocks Tea Cakes. I don't know how anyone could stop at one TBH.

IcakethereforeIam · 29/08/2022 19:21

Is anyone else using this thread to make a shopping list?

Gwenhwyfar · 29/08/2022 19:21

If I buy a packet of biscuits I usually just eat the whole thing in one go.
I don't buy them every day of course.

BCBird · 29/08/2022 19:22

Respect🤣

puddleduckle · 29/08/2022 19:24

Peanut cookies from Tesco, my weakness and I can never just have one or two..

HelloTreacle9 · 29/08/2022 19:24

Oh I forgot Full Size Cheddars, all lovely and thin, none of your chonky Mini Cheddar nonsense. Packet open is packet gone.
