And I don't feel even the slightest bit unreasonable. In fact, I bought them knowing that I'd sit and eat them all as soon as I got home.

What do you regularly buy, knowing that you will use/eat the lot of it?

Party Rings
Yum Yums
M&S cherry bakewell cookies

Best not to buy any of them as I’m trying to loose some weight.

It’s the Christmas edition white Frosty Fancies that I binge on. It’s my highlight of festive season!

I am too part of this binge eating club and have had to stop buying treats as I know I cannot eat in moderation now! I always end up eating both packs of the prawn cocktail Disco crisps without stopping for air and the Doritos bbq Stax pretty much fall down my throat.

Happyher · 29/08/2022 19:00

Big bars of chocolate! I just tell myself I’m going to eat it anyway so may as well eat it all at once. My dentist encouraged me by saying you do less damage to you teeth if you eat it all in one night 😁

QuestionableMouse · 29/08/2022 19:00

Stroopwafels.

I've banned myself from buying them because I can and have eaten a full pack in one sitting.

Sally99 · 29/08/2022 19:01

Tiramisu. The family size one.

crispsndip · 29/08/2022 19:02

Just saw this and felt a huge pang of jealousy. You are correct OP, that is truly aspirational living

GetOffTheTableMabel · 29/08/2022 19:03

Tuc Cheese Sandwich biscuits - the ones that have the cheesy gook in the middle. I don’t let myself buy them anymore but I do let myself eat several of the portioned snack packs of them after I have given blood. It’s probably the main reason I give blood.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/08/2022 19:04

Pistachio nuts , then I get sore fingers trying to prise open the ones that are closed

Soreen malt loaf, no butter and none of the new fangled flavours thank you

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 29/08/2022 19:05

Never feel guilty about pleasure. Especially at the moment when the little things are, sometimes, all one has.

Youhaveyourhandsfull · 29/08/2022 19:05

I bloody love French fancies. But not the brown ones, they get left until the end, and then I remember a day later there’s still two brown ones left and decide I may as well eat them. While wishing they were pink.
I really want one now. Shame, I’m not in the UK and not available here.

Maze76 · 29/08/2022 19:06

Ben & Jerry Cookie Dough Ice cream..

Anystarinthesky · 29/08/2022 19:08

Mars bar ice creams

Wotsits

Nutella

Lindt chocs

Scoff, scoff scoff!

siucra · 29/08/2022 19:08

I ate an entire Soreen loaf with butter over two sittings. It just disappeared. My daughter was looking for it and I lied and said I’d put it in the freezer.

NoddyMcdoddy · 29/08/2022 19:08

M&S cheese twists, once the box is open I will eat the lot in one sitting. Similarly Tesco finest Gouda and Edam crackers.

Once done the box gets hidden at the very bottom of the recycling bin so no knows they were ever in the house.

bumblenbean · 29/08/2022 19:08

Those m&s tubs of chocolate ‘bites’. Ok maybe not the whole tub but I can easily put away the vast majority in front of the tv of an evening. They’re so bloody moreish. The caramel crispy ones and the choc orange mini rolls in particular…

Probably the worst thing I ate in one sitting (whilst heavily pregnant) was a ‘tear and share’ cinnamon swirl from Tesco. Absolutely massive and incredibly sweet. Criminally good but also diabetes on a plate. The sugar content doesn’t bear thinking about 🫢

RGinaPhalange · 29/08/2022 19:08

I always laugh at the resealing strips on the back of Cadbury share bags!!!

Im thinking this absolutely wont be necessary!!!!

adriftabroad · 29/08/2022 19:08

crumpets

Were we separated at birth?!

What all of us? 😂

Mine's Nutella, cheese and onion crisps, peppermint fondants, good ice cream - Haagen-Daz Belgian choc for instance, used to be cream eggs but I've gone off them!

Lifeisbeautiful01 · 29/08/2022 19:09

729927luc · 29/08/2022 17:26

Jaffa cakes or Cadbury choc fingers 🤣

God yes! Chocolate fingers- you can keep the Jaffa cakes though 😂

Crucible · 29/08/2022 19:09

Tim tams are banned in my house. I can eat an entire packet, you bite each end off, then suck tea up the middle of it like it's a big chocolate straw. The 3rd cup of tea to finish the packet makes you feel so sick.
I
Do
Not
Buy
Timtams.

jarviscockatiel · 29/08/2022 19:10

Tesco parmesan and garlic twists - they're like crack!

RobertsRadio · 29/08/2022 19:10

I like to think I am an equal opportunities consumer, so all the following would be be very welcome:

Hot lamb chops, could eat several of these
Family sized trifle
Whole ripe and oozing Camembert - with bread, crackers or on it's own
Cheese and onion crisps family sized pack
M&S packs of Percy Pigs
M&S whole Swiss rolls, preferably coffee flavour
Whole big jar of cornichons
Whole pack of walnut whips

Needless to say I don't buy any of these on a regular basis, only on very rare high days and holidays.

A fortune teller once read my palm and told me I have no willpower, No Shit Sherlock🙄

Stressybetty · 29/08/2022 19:12

Those jam filled pink iced buns from M&S. Think there's 5 in the pack and scoffed 4 on a v bad PMT day.

oviraptor21 · 29/08/2022 19:13

Bag of doughnuts
Soreen malt loaf
Entire 800g loaf of tiger bread over the course of a day
Family bag if Kettle Chips or Tyrrells
Pretty much anything bread like I can demolish quickly. I just have to make sure I don't buy them now.

MiauzenKatzenjammer · 29/08/2022 19:14

Haagen-Dazs. It doesn't come in half litre tubs for no reason.
