I just ate a whole pack of french fancies

And I don't feel even the slightest bit unreasonable. In fact, I bought them knowing that I'd sit and eat them all as soon as I got home.

What do you regularly buy, knowing that you will use/eat the lot of it?

I have just eaten a whole pack of French Fancies too and yes, such a lot of sugar-I'm shaking.
I am really worried and wondering if I should call 999.

My main worry is that I am now shaking too much to be able to prise the top off my Pringles. They may not be able to send around someone around to help but it is an emergency so perhaps I should.
Will it pass do you think? Will I get my pringles in the next 10 minutes.

Jammie dodgers
Jaffa cakes
Fig rolls

ThatshallotBaby · 29/08/2022 18:14

Completely understandable, French fancies are tiny. I will eat the chocolate ones but I much prefer the lemon or vanilla ones.
i can also easily eat a whole packet of Tunnocks tea cakes. And I do.

Oh God I’ve done this several times OP. And then I feel quite sick.

ThatshallotBaby · 29/08/2022 18:15

No shaking

ThatshallotBaby · 29/08/2022 18:15

Steady as a rock

StaunchMomma · 29/08/2022 18:16

Nutella or that hideous marshmallow Fluff stuff.

Just hand me a spoon and watch me go 😂

I'm not keen on sweet stuff but I scoffed a whole roast chicken once

Was it at a Mediaeval banquet?😎

whatdodos · 29/08/2022 18:17

Those salt and vinegar chips style crisps. I'll eat a multipack in one go and I'm not even a crisp lover but there's something about them 🙈

RampantIvy · 29/08/2022 18:17

Randoms or Percy Pigs
French Fancies are sickly sweet and disgusting.

RiskItBiscuit · 29/08/2022 18:17

Fig rolls or chocolate mousse!

PriamFarrl · 29/08/2022 18:18

See this is when I don’t get MN. You get threads like this and then you get the threads where the op looks at a picture of a lettuce leaf and is full for the week, and everyone agrees. (Im in the whole tube of Pringles camp myself).

TheBestSpoon · 29/08/2022 18:18

Ben and Jerry's Phish Food, Tunnocks teacakes, hot cross buns and Mr Kipling cherry bakewells all disappear worryingly quickly. I buy them very infrequently as a result!

BeggarsMeddle · 29/08/2022 18:18

With all the shameless 'shrinkflation' that's gone on - fondant fancies being one example - we can be certain we'll not have consumed as many calories as we would have 10 years ago... 🙂I always think of that when I'm indulging.

Sainsbury's Tiramisu is nice for breakfast.

Hoppinggreen · 29/08/2022 18:18

Mr Kipling? YABU
Bettys? How did you stop at one pack?

PeriConfused · 29/08/2022 18:19

Or a pack of Tunnocks tea cakes
I might have even eaten a 5 (good job it shrunk from a 6 pack!) of creme eggs
But I survived and even eat fruit and veg in my spare time

Somethingneedstochange · 29/08/2022 18:19

Anything Mr Kipling I go for whatever is on offer. Viennese whirls have always been a favourite my nana got me addicted. The Aldi one's just don't cut it they're far too crumbly.

Ahnobother · 29/08/2022 18:19

Any sharing bag of sweets. Those are totally a gimmick from companies to sell more and make more money.

Not so busted on chocolate.

Tub of Haagen Dazs but I couldn't sleep that evening so haven't done it since.

Haha I did that! 18-30 holiday in Tenerife!

ChrisPriss · 29/08/2022 18:19

Pringles are the food of the gods. Also, Aldi's own version of Pringles is most acceptable!

Sunbird24 · 29/08/2022 18:20

Matchmakers, any flavour. Today it was a sharing bag of mint Aero bubbles - allegedly 8 bubbles is a portion. Ha!

I'm with you on these. I find Mr Kipling stuff too sweet and artificial tasting. There is another thread about Costco "cakes" which I also find too sweet and artificial.

BabyDreamers · 29/08/2022 18:21

I do this every few weeks. My son doesn't like them thank god.

piefacedClique · 29/08/2022 18:23

They sell packs of just yellow ones now in sainsburys. I had to put them in the boot on the way home or they would all be gone! Once you’ve eaten so many the only possible solution to not look like a pig is to eat the whole pack so no one else knows you’ve eaten any!

SunshineLoving · 29/08/2022 18:23

Don't blame you in the slightest. Love those things. Craving them now.

I sometimes buy 20 nuggets from McDonald's telling myself I'll just have half and save the rest to eat later. I always eat them all straight away.
