And I don't feel even the slightest bit unreasonable. In fact, I bought them knowing that I'd sit and eat them all as soon as I got home.

What do you regularly buy, knowing that you will use/eat the lot of it?

"Sharing" bags of crisps (ha!), Ben and jerrys and pointless (not together)

You’re going to have to tell me what pointless is - I won’t be able to sleep tonight!

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 29/08/2022 18:33

A packet of Garibaldi biscuits. I’m not much of a biscuit person but I can’t leave those alone..

Livpool · 29/08/2022 18:33

Only the yellow French Fancies are edible!

Pringles
French stick and salted butter

And last but not least - shortbread. I have actually banned myself for buying it cos I will eat it ALL

Maverickess · 29/08/2022 18:34

Jaffa cakes and after 8's, and although I'm not a crisp lover the only reason a share bag of flamin hot Doritos lasts long enough to share is because they start to burn my mouth (really can't eat hot food) after a few.
I have a real sweet tooth and could definitely do a pack of French Fancies in one go, though they are really sweet so I might have to have a break at half way, but if my period was due I'd be lucky if I took the paper off first!

Chazx · 29/08/2022 18:34

this is how i roll every day ... whole packets of 5 skinny whip bars or entire packet of 5 bars of Cadbury Brunch bars ... 4 pack of Cadbury Twirl bars.

Husband and kids are 😮on a daily basis

abovedecknotbelow · 29/08/2022 18:36

Oh no I can't stand French fancies, I couldn't really eat one of them.

However I can't be left alone with any form of shortbread, French stick or tiger bread and decent butter, roasted and sated cashews or those bags of little mini salamis you get in France.

I'm not surprised. I'd be concerned if I were them as well.

A malt loaf with real , slightly salted butter .
A box of maltesers
Pringles
Cherry bake wells
battenburg

Daisycatliveshere · 29/08/2022 18:37

Tunnocks tea cakes. If I buy them I’ll eat all six the same day. I rarely buy them now but just sometimes…

SnottyLottie · 29/08/2022 18:38

Häagen-Dazs strawberry cheese cake ice cream.

I literally cannot buy it any more as I know I cannot control myself 😆

Fivemoreminutesinbed · 29/08/2022 18:39

When pregnant I ordered (think it was) 12 chilli cheese bites from Burger King for myself.

54isanopendoor · 29/08/2022 18:40

olives, nuts, cheese.
portion control is hard.

blobby10 · 29/08/2022 18:40

Another French fancies scoffer here! Plus Jaffa cakes ! Plus the biscoff cream biscuits x and the lemon Swiss roll style cake with lemon curd that Lidl do!

NoGoodUsernamee · 29/08/2022 18:40

@Fivemoreminutesinbed those chilli cheese bites 🤤

InsertPunHere · 29/08/2022 18:40

Golden Crunch Creams and my sweet binge.

An entire camembert. I can and will eat and entire camembert.

Livpool · 29/08/2022 18:40

spanktastic · 29/08/2022 18:04

I'm not keen on sweet stuff but I scoffed a whole roast chicken once

I trust you tore it apart with your bare hands and ate it like you were Henry VIII

Sunbird24 · 29/08/2022 18:41

piefacedClique · 29/08/2022 18:30

The sensations mango chutney or lime popadoms 🤤🤤🤤

Ooh yes, those too

AdditionalCharacter · 29/08/2022 18:41

Sainsburys sugar ring doughnuts
Sharing bag of giant Wotsits
M&S toffee pecan shortbread

Currently in hospital and would kill for some decent food.

Mollyplop999 · 29/08/2022 18:41

Were we separated at birth?!

Xmasbaby11 · 29/08/2022 18:42

I used to eat a whole box of French fancies and would not feel ill - I was v overweight though! I'm still overweight but more likely to binge on crisps - just can't get full on those!

Chikapu · 29/08/2022 18:42

Big bags of Tayto Rancheros, they just melt on your tongue and I lose track of how many I've shovelled in popped in my mouth in a ladylike fashion.

Underthehills · 29/08/2022 18:43

Ha! Good for you. I don’t buy French Fancies for that reason. Nothing beats the big individual Waitrose ones though. I am a liability with bags of doughnuts, sharing crisps and home-made sponge cake with butter cream everywhere.

brightnesses · 29/08/2022 18:43

Omg how can you eat a whole pack of those, they’re so sweet😭

I can’t really talk though, I’ll scoff down anything. I can eat a 6 pack of crisps in one day. Sharing bags of anything go all at once and I don’t share. Purple pack of Maryland can go in one day. My list honestly goes on, it’s so bad

Vampirethriller · 29/08/2022 18:44

Kellogg's Crunchy Nut peanut butter.
Have been known to eat a whole Colin Caterpillar cake.

amylou8 · 29/08/2022 18:44

Halloumi, I can't resist that salty squeaky cheesyness. I don't buy it anymore because I just can't stop myself eating the whole block.
