I just ate a whole pack of french fancies

And I don't feel even the slightest bit unreasonable. In fact, I bought them knowing that I'd sit and eat them all as soon as I got home.

What do you regularly buy, knowing that you will use/eat the lot of it?

I can't even eat one French fancy let alone a pack, they are so sweet.
I'm genuinely shocked that some of you can eat so much in one go.
I like my food but there is some gluttony on here. And yes I know I will be flamed.

Flame grilled and eaten, with a side of French Fancies!

JustDanc3 · 29/08/2022 21:29

Definitely a tube of pringles as well as French bread, salami and cheese.. That French stick be gone.

ThatshallotBaby · 29/08/2022 21:29

Well said @Cervinia

Thelnebriati · 29/08/2022 21:30

Tesco rhubarb and custard creams.

@Rosscameasdoody that sounds like Tunnocks tea cakes!

Grigorisangel · 29/08/2022 21:31

I’m coeliac so can’t eat gluten, I have no reaction to it so it’s so so hard not to eat it but I know it won’t be doing my insides any good even if outwardly I don’t feel ill.
I LOVE cake and would honestly given the opportunity easily demolish at least 6 boxes of French fancies before starting to feel like it was enough 😆
As it is I tend to go with gluten free cherry bakewells as they are alright.
I’ve just seen an advert for bake-off coming soon and was thinking how it will be disaster for my healthy eating stint as I can’t watch it without a big treat, I might start baking myself a cake or some cupcakes to watch it with as I’m sure they will be better and healthier than the shop bough gluten free rubbish

Nobody is saying it's occasional though, why are you assuming that? I'm finding it really gross - binge eating is not a good thing.

I agree. Read a couple of pages and felt nauseous!

Jaffa cakes or Cadbury choc fingers 🤣

These!!
In the old days, Abbey Crunch if anyone remembers those? They're long gone now unfortunately 😪

SBAM · 29/08/2022 21:34

Lime doritos, with or without mild salsa.
The lime and coriander poppadom crisps.
paprika Pringles.
flaming hot wotsits.
the new crunchy wotsits that are basically niknaks, also in the flaming hot flavour.

I have a crisp problem when I have pmt.
I am an actual adult now though and don’t just eat a share size bag of crisps for dinner like I did when I was a student.

Thelnebriati · 29/08/2022 21:34

If you look on the website ignore the bonkers review that claims they taste like horseradish, if its still up 🤣

Sunbird24 · 29/08/2022 21:33

@Rosscameasdoody snowballs?

No, snowballs didn’t have biscuit on the bottom, and I think they were chocolate coated. These were in packs and were pink and plain white, sitting on a small digestive type biscuit. See, I’m thinking about snowballs now !!

Sunbird24 · 29/08/2022 21:37

@Rosscameasdoody ohh, think I know what you mean! Can picture them, but no idea of the name

I used to love Abbey Crunch. Try Fox’s Ginger Cream Crunch - they’re the nearest you can get to them I think.

Undertheoldlindentree · 29/08/2022 21:37

Tunnock tea cakes. Can almost suck them down whole. Like a marshmallow addicted hoover!

Babyg1995 · 29/08/2022 21:39

Jalapeño cheetos haven't bought them again once I realised the calories 😯

Ineedtoletgo83 · 29/08/2022 21:43

peanut M&Ms are freaking crack in a ball.

@Rosscameasdoody jam mallows?

BCBird · 29/08/2022 21:43

Re gluten free shop bought rubbish. I don't think the shop bought stuff is worth bothering with tbh. It easier to make at home. The bread is so expensive. I have dabbled with making that at home but it's a poor second to soft shop bought stuff. Pre avoiding gluten I would scoff through orange cream biscuits, Jammy Dodgers, Viennese whirls or fig rolls. Obviously I would not eat a packet in one sitting as I'm not greedy! I would leave a couple and go back later!

RewildingAmbridge · 29/08/2022 21:46

Haven't done that in years! I think last time I did it made me feel sick. Was good while it lasted though.
Strong blue cheese, hovis crackers, chilli jam/compote, caramelised onion chutney , figs and a bottle of port. I would eat myself into a food coma if left alone!

Witchofthedales · 29/08/2022 21:47

Pringles, I try not to buy them anymore, especially the prawn cocktail ones.

NewJobSoNewName · 29/08/2022 21:47

Cadbury big bags of buttons.

I can pretend I won't eat them all that same evening.

But I always do.

KohlaParasaurus · 29/08/2022 21:47

I'm sure French Fancies are tiny now compared to when I was a child. Then, one was plenty. Now, I could work my way through eight in the course of an evening without feeling the slightest bit sick or wired. Just as well it never occurs to me to buy them. Olive bread is my regular eat-till-it's-gone thing.

bellsbuss · 29/08/2022 21:48

Jaffa cakes , Pringles , coconut rings , fresh bread and butter
