No plans for me. I'm at home, bored. I don't do sitting around at home. I need/ like to be active. Feel like I should get doing something today instead of wasting the day doing nothing. I could be doing various jobs indoors but I CBA to start them and their not urgent jobs, just trivial ones.
Hit me up with your exciting plans for today

Yesterday was great, swim, a kayak trip, bbq. Today I had a lie in till 11, very rare for me, dog walk and now lying 8n sun with a glass of wine while DH out entertaining a visitor….

PlantPhoenix · 29/08/2022 17:16

The children are away so I spent all morning lying in bed with cups of tea after I'd let the dog out. Quick cuppa with a friend. Now at the hospice visiting DH, have perked him up a bit by changing the radio n from smooth music to 6music and am watching/ helping him eat his chicken curry.

Took granddaughter to the beach

Went for a run this morning (hard work, my fitness is really rubbish since having covid twice this year). Then got writing my essay. Nearly finished it now, just the reflection to do but I have brain freeze now so leaving that for another day. DH took the kids and dog out so I could concentrate and I've had copious amounts of tea and flapjack that I made with DS3 this morning.
Off for a sea swim after tea (which will be lasagne, chips and salad) and then an early night after watching the last episode of Stranger things. I'm back to work tomorrow for the rest of the week so an early start.

Got up, went for a 12km run. Got back to my desk for a 4 hour shift starting at 9 (is bank holiday here but students still need help for their accountancy exams soon). Then had a nice long bath. Currently chilling on the sofa.

Reeling after yet another awful encounter with my husband where he spent 15 minutes last night shouting with rage at me as he couldn’t find something he needed for today. Accused me of losing it, throwing it away, his face contorted in rage, muscles tense. He eventually found it in a different cupboard from the one he thought it was in (and he had put it in the cupboard it was in). He instantly calmed, gave me a calm ‘ sorry’ and walked off like nothing had happened.

I hate him.

Have a job interview next week. If I get it, I will be a step closer to leaving. If I don’t get it, I will break.

My fingers and toes are crossed for you to get that job. X

Had a lovely morning. Then got let down yet again. As always. Always a better option than me.

Cilcain village show. Currently waiting for the finish of the mountain race. It's a beautiful village in north wales.

Feeling very lucky to live close to such a beautiful area.

Ooh you must live near me. Cilcain is beautiful, I live a couple of miles away (have never braved the mountain race though!😂)

I know this feeling well. I turned to dogs in the end, a dog will never look for a better option than it’s human

Was at a wedding yesterday so feeling a bit tired today. Am mumsnetting / playing Sims / watching Baywatch on the sofa. We seem to have a channel dedicated to Baywatch for some reason?!

PyjamaDuddlejuck · 29/08/2022 18:08

I'm having a lifemin day, getting some specific things sorted out for later in the week and more general things like emails and banking. Laundry is on, as is the dinner. My partner is being a bit of a pain, whinging etc. although is doing some housework in between the whinging. It's the most boring Bank Hol in a while but I did go out yesterday and boring things need doing. I have the radio on in the background and am just enjoying peace and quiet as much as possible and not exerting myself as I've got an active week coming.

@BabyDreamers Plan for yourself. That's what I've begun to do. Sometimes it's a bit lonely out on your own, sometimes it's lovely. Hugs.

I have covid (as does my daughter and H) though only H is ill. I would have no idea if I hadn't tested. Watched most of Red Rose earlier. Daughter and I went out blackberrying quite late in the afternoon as we live in Reading and had to wait for the festival crowd to clear off. Then we made crumble while playing loud music in the kitchen. Got 2 more days under stay at home guidance so can't go into the office tomorrow. WFH it is, what a shame hee hee!

TheChosenTwo · 29/08/2022 19:43

Very little!
We’ve had a busy weekend, festival on Saturday and big family bbq all day yesterday so just recharging today. Managed a bit of a clothes sort out, some basic house crap (washing, dh is doing dinner) and planning a very early night tonight.
