Japanese

I love all of these, but definitely British. It's not as if it would mean restricting yourself to traditional stodgy pies, sticky puddings and full English breakfasts (delicious as they are!). There's plenty of lighter stuff that's not not British iyswim!

jeannie46 · 28/08/2022 08:37

French

SlowingDownAndDown · 28/08/2022 08:38

Do I have to cook it?

dalisdrippingclock · 28/08/2022 08:39

Vietnamese please

Burnt0utMum · 28/08/2022 08:39

Definitely Greek

Stickmansmum · 28/08/2022 08:40

Butter.

Is butter a cuisine? Should be.

SlowingDownAndDown · 28/08/2022 08:42

British or The British Isles if allowed. Potatoes are the best staple, and it could include curries. They’ve been around long enough .

I love Indian food and always said I'd happily eat that forever l, however I just got back from holiday where all I ate is Indian and now I've changed my mind after eating it for days in a row. I now challenge you all to eat (the food you say you'd eat for the rest of your life) for just a week constantly and see if you still feel that way about it

I accept your challenge!

I’ve eaten nothing but Sri Lankan food for a two-week holiday (including breakfast - very nice) and could definitely have kept going.

Same experience in Belize, so maybe I’ll add Belizean food as an alternative.

I’ve found I get a bit fed up with nothing but Italian, nice as it is.

Bubblebubblebah · 28/08/2022 08:47

Middle eastern. Bar pork it has everything i like

Neverendingdust · 28/08/2022 08:48

I could easily live off Burgers and Charlie Bighams Lasagne if calories weren’t an issue…not sure what cuisine that comes under?

TiredzzZZ · 28/08/2022 08:48

Italian! It's pretty much all we eat anyway! I adore salad, love a pizza every now and again, my kids eat loads of pasta. I love a good risotto. I'm all good with Italian.

I'm thinking Jewish because you get some European, some middle eastern and even some African.

But then I would have to give up bacon.

There is macon. Tastes exactly like normal streaky bacon 😉

hangrylady · 28/08/2022 08:50

Indian

Ladylout · 28/08/2022 08:51

Peruvian or thai

Sidisawetlettuce · 28/08/2022 08:52

YellowClogDancer · 28/08/2022 00:43

British

English/Welsh/Scottish breakfast, fish & chips, roast dinner, cream tea. Bara brith, haggis, sausages from the pig farm up the road.

I like food from other countries but if I had to restrict myself, it’s UK

Me too!!

iliketartan · 28/08/2022 08:53

British

SilverGlassHare · 28/08/2022 08:54

Do ‘sandwiches’ count as a cuisine? I could probably eat sandwiches for the rest of my life.

CJsGoldfish · 28/08/2022 08:58

Greek/Turkish

Luredbyapomegranate · 28/08/2022 08:58

MsTSwift · 28/08/2022 09:02

theworldhas · 28/08/2022 09:04
