Mines would be Mexican what's yours

OP posts:
TiaraBoo · 28/08/2022 01:10

Italian. But having second thoughts after you said Mexican. 😑

Anystarinthesky · 28/08/2022 01:12

Italian! So delicious.

MaryJoLisa · 28/08/2022 01:15

Chinese, though pan Asian would be a much better option if allowed. If I go to hell, it's Mexican food 24/7 there, the worst of all foods for me.

BobbysGirly · 28/08/2022 01:16

English/Welsh/Scottish breakfast, fish & chips, roast dinner, cream tea. Bara brith, haggis, sausages from the pig farm up the road.
I like food from other countries but if I had to restrict myself, it’s UK

👍I’m 💯 with you there.

newtb · 28/08/2022 01:17

Indiana or chinese, can't decide

MermaidSwimming · 28/08/2022 01:18

Italian

nancy75 · 28/08/2022 01:20

Spanish, followed by Mexican

Dazedandconfused10 · 28/08/2022 01:22

Mexican... I essentially do already

tulippa · 28/08/2022 01:27

DramaAlpaca · 28/08/2022 01:30

I would say Italian also as I love pasta and salads and seafood but it’s the way they cook it that makes it special .

Would need Italian ingredients too ideally. A caprese salad with British supermarket tomatoes for example is not quite the same.

psychomath · 28/08/2022 01:31

Vietnamese for me too. Indian is my favourite for a one off but I think I'd struggle to eat it every day.

GeorgiaGirl52 · 28/08/2022 01:35

Chinese or Southern USA

Caiti19 · 28/08/2022 01:44

I'm with you in the Mexican camp, OP! I enjoy food from all over the world, but can't beat the pure, fresh flavours of Mexican if we're picking one only.

Rinatinabina · 28/08/2022 01:45

Lebanese

TanteRose · 28/08/2022 01:50

British!
full English, roasts, fish & chips, cheddar cheese, shepherds pie, sticky toffee pudding…ahhhh!

I live in Japan and it’s what all the ex-pats crave on a daily basis - we have FB posts alerting Brits to shops selling imported cheese, or crumpets! Grin

HRTQueen · 28/08/2022 01:58

Italian

it’s so varied. Close second Turkish

mlj123 · 28/08/2022 02:24

I love Indian food and always said I'd happily eat that forever l, however I just got back from holiday where all I ate is Indian and now I've changed my mind after eating it for days in a row. I now challenge you all to eat (the food you say you'd eat for the rest of your life) for just a week constantly and see if you still feel that way about it

Totally this. 3 weeks in India and cumin being my favourite spice but I ordered some pasta over there just to escape and even that tasted of cumin. Couldn't live on that.

SarahProblem · 28/08/2022 03:19

My head says Italian for variety but my heart says Mexican.

I have a friend who had visited Tokyo a few times, he has a limited diet so doesn't et Japanese, I suggested we start a business with one of those mobile burger vans, take it to different locations and sell 'gaijin' food of pies, roast potatoes, fish nd chips etc.
