To not want to be friends with fire signs

I know if I read this I would probably think I was crazy.
but it’s dawned on me I don’t get on with fire signs! I like them as aquaintences but I always feel let down by them
as im quite deep and emotional and I find fire signs to be about image abs quite hard hearted.

I neither believe nor disbelieve. I'm not in a position to provide proof since none currently exists. As with anything that requires the suspension of cynicism and adoption of blind faith in the absence of any subjective experience I don't have any opinion.

Dh is I would say a fairly typical saggyarse who is quick to judge and fiery. I would say he likes to think himself a dashing philosophising, half horse half man who is honest, erudite, charming and irresistible. I just see a judgemental quick tempered, opinionated but at least honest person, not unlike my mother who was born under the same sign. Both can cut through a lot a crap with sharp wit, fast opinion and can be blunt to the point of hurtful.

We are very quick to dismiss historic belief systems believing that we are on a teleological journey towards complete knowledge of all that exists through the paradigm of science. If only that were so.....

There are things that science can explain, things it cannot, things it may one day explain and things which will never be explained. And that is probably just as it should be.

I just don't think it can work through stars and other planets doing things.

I love Aries people. In my experience they're always rich, funny, kind, generous, good looking, amazing sexual partners, adventurous, loyal, intelligent and good cooks.

Yes, I think it is U to take astrology seriously. And rejecting people for their star sign is really just as irrational and prejudiced as rejecting them for their gender, skin colour or nationality; though fortunately it has never been institutionalized in the same way. Like a few PP, I thought at first that you were talking about fire warning notices, and was wondering who was expecting you to be friends with a notice!

I think there's something in it.. my 3 BIG relationships were with Scorpio, Scorpio & Libra. My eldest son is Gemini (the twins) he's either very funny & loving or very cross.. ;-) Second son is a deep Scorpio as is my sister. Next two are Taurus, earth signs like me, no falling out there! Twins are Aries. Fall out with one, you fall out with both.. ;-) the 'baby' is Aquarius. Love him to bits but we do lock horns.. ;-)

Interesting. I had much more of a quick temper when I was younger, but I quickly learned that wasn’t particularly beneficial in life. I put a lot of effort into making myself step back from situations instead of responding with immediate anger. I do tackle situations head on, I don’t like putting things off and avoiding shit. If someone tries to be a cheeky fucker then I’m not one to swallow it in the name of keeping the peace. I can be impatient and I have a low tolerance for bullshit. If I want something then I will throw myself into achieving it, and yes I do find that if I commit myself to something I will succeed.

I’m ‘head’ over heart, not because I’m ignoring my heart but because my heart doesn’t come into it as any sort of governing body. I do struggle to relate and find common ground with people who are predominantly emotionally led. For example, I don’t understand why someone would choose to make life harder for themselves based on feelings. Appeals to emotion and guilt trips do not have any affect on me. I am direct, but I don’t believe I’m rude or mean with it. That said, if someone thinks I’m arsehole I’m not offended by that. I know I don’t appeal to everyone and I’m fine with that, I have no desire to and I don’t need to. So yes, I am marmite.

What a fun mix! I love all of them. That’s actually all of my faves but I also really like Capricorns too. They have a super dry, observation sense of humour that you only hear if you know them well.

sun in aries has been accurately described above. Also really warm go getters. The sun is your ego.

cappy moon - super ambitious and really successful. They tend to be go getters and don’t deviate once they have a goal. Difficult to show emotion publicly though. Can sometimes mean problems with your mum. Scorpio and Capricorn moons are the most difficult to have. Scorpio because they’re too emotional and capricorns because they struggle to show emotion. Your moon is your emotional regulations and stuff.

rising is Scorpio so you appear like a typical Scorpio. Vixen, sultry, mysterious, sexy. You prob have a strong stare! Bit Scorpio is the sign of transformation so it’s kinda like a phoenix so I’m not surprised that you change yourself when you feel it’s necessary. Scorpio is a brace sign like that. I'm liking this thread, so my sun is in aries, moon in scorpio and rising sign is libra. I am so going to take some time in the future to find out what that all means! It seems interesting, and kind of fun.

I know nothing about this, but I'm sure I read that you don't necessarily have to know the time to work out the moon sign (sometimes it is the same moon sign for the entire day), the rising sign seems to be more time specific - does she remember roughly what time it was?

I'm an earth sign. I get on well with earth and fire signs, not so much with air and water signs. Water signs are often very emotional and air signs can be a bit "dreamy", as an earth sign I'm very logical, practical and feet on the ground so emotional dreamy people get on my nerves!

Had my birth chart done in depth years ago and all my other planets, IIRC, were in Sagittarius too. She said it was like having all your eggs in one basket and, and I quote, 'Sagittarius is a pretty big basket.'

@SeaGreen9i my birth was pretty horrific so I don't think anyone was paying attention to the time. If it was written down, she's lost all the records. She thinks around one a clock in the morning. Am Capricorn if I go by the 12 star signs
